What a great day, the weather was perfect, clear and dry. Everything went smoothly from pickup to drop off. The views were exceptional even to having a scheduled stop to see the volcano (apparently it’s rare to see the summit but the weather was so good we could). Big thanks to driver Bjorn, beautifully smooth drive and to our guide Eric, very knowledgeable delivered in a fun and engaging manner. Thanks guys

Very good trip, despite the weather not being great on March 18. Guide and driver Dylan was excellent. Because of the weather he adjusted the schedule around the lunch break, hoping for better weather after the break so that we could see a bit more. He told us everything about the history, the geography, wildlife and places we visited, as well as things we saw along the way and he was able to answer most questions asked, whilst also keeping an eye out on the road.

At the stops there was enough time to walk around and enjoy the amazing scenery. Didn't feel rushed at all. Once more Dylan's advice was very helpful, e.g. telling us not to bother to climb to the top (Seljalandsfoss). Plus, he made sure everyone was aware of risks (e.g. Reynisfjara beach).

The tour is done in a minibus, with enough space for all passengers. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially when you want to enjoy the scenery and not drive the route in your own car.

If you decide to walk behind the waterfall, make sure to bring a waterproof jacket or poncho, as you will definitely get wet - but it's definitely worth it. And hope for clear skies, so you have a perfect view on the glaciers and volcanoes. But that's not something Dylan or Reykjavik Excursions can influence.

Our tour guide, HOSKULDUR, was amazing!!!
Spoke about fun stories and interesting facts for the whole day! It’s a super long day and early start but it’s so well organised and the sites you see are spectacular, the day ends up going so quickly! You get plenty of time for each stop and nothing feels rushed. Definitely worth booking, despite the long journeys. The views out the window also keep you very occupied along with out amazing guided stories! Thank you for making our trip so special

A full day out we was picked up at 8.30am and got back about 7 pm. Our tour guide was Albert and he was a mind of information about everything with a nice sprinkling of humour. We saw waterfalls, glaciers, the black beach and rock formations amongst other sites. Amazing day out, some walking involved. My one slight criticism is that we felt some stops we a bit hurried so maybe if they did on stop less and allowed more time at others it would have been better, but that’s just our opinion. Still a great day out.

I absolutely loved this tour
I did it my second day whilst in Iceland. Our tour guide was incredibly kind, I booked this through jet2 city breaks.
The time length of the tour was great! Got to really see everything and I never felt rushed. The scenery is beyond, sometimes feels like you’re walking through a movie. We had lots of different choices when we stopped for lunch. Such a wonderful experience, couldn’t recommend it more

This was an excellent tour. Everything was very easy in terms of pickup and getting on our way. There are several pickup locations in Reykjavik which seem to be universal and make it simple to get hooked up on your tour. All seem to be close to the common hotels. We were picked up at the stop next to our hotel and then to the tour terminal. We departed from there.

Our guide Dylan was super. His narration included the Iceland's history, geology, folklore, weather and he answered any questions asked on the tour. He was really knowledgeable. I liked his sense of humor and his willingness to try to adjust our day based on the weather and what would work best. Dylan kept us on time.

We stoped at two of the biggest, most famous waterfalls (the names are in tour description and are too long to spell out right now) but also saw many not the route. We also stopped at the black sand beach (beautiful) and a glacier. The best part was the second waterfall which you can walk behind - but be warned, you will get very wet- bring a rain poncho. Amazing and beautiful.

I recommend this tour. If you go, know it is a long day. I would not book on the same day as a northern lights tour. Also, have a good jacket and a rain poncho for the waterfall. My husband wore jeans over his thermals. I wore waterproof pants (also with thermals) and my coat. By the end of the day, we both all a bit soggy, so was most of our tour group. But the beauty was well worth the discomfort.
