We had a fantastic day tour with Filip driving, informing, leading and supporting. No small achievement over the 12-13 hours !!
The scenery in the South is beautiful. Highlights were the Black Beach - but beware the quite regular sneaker (rogue) waves that come in from the Atlantic and come far higher up the beach and quicker than most - we saw them catch a few people off guard but thankfully Filip had given us pre-warning
The visit to the glacier was also beautiful but as always sobering to realise the profound impact climate warming is having.
We had maybe 8-10 stops in total
So plenty of opportunities for leg stretches. And the final drive back was accompanied by one of the most stunning sunsets I’ve ever seen. Fabulous day all round and highly recommended

What a day!! Definitely long but worth it. Bring snacks and a refillable water bottle. Lots of driving and thankfully we have wonderful tour guides who have lived in Iceland most of their lives and enjoy driving and showing the country the live in like our wonderful and very knowledgeable tour guide OMAR!! He was wonderful.
Pick up time is as noted & if Incase driver is running behind, there’s a number for the website to call. We were picked up in one of the Mercedes sprinter vans that seats 16 people. A little tight, but cozy and definitely more appropriate for this tour than the GOLDEN CIRCLE tour which is less driving so the big charter bus worked for that tour.
Despite the poor weather (rain & wind) we had a great time and it made our trip more interesting and challenging yet fun! Omar did a wonderful job getting us safely to our destinations on the tour and told us history about each stop!!
I loved the fact that he provided crampons for walking on ice much more safer instead of slipping all over the place. The drivers for the small vans (groups of 16) provided crampons. The big charter buses didn’t that I saw on this route as well.
Dress warm with waterproof clothing!!! This is no joke bc this tour is with a lot of waterfalls so depending if you want to take a picture close to the waterfall then you’ll be fine, otherwise you’ll get pretty wet. Plus the weather is unpredictable in Iceland. One minute it’s sunny next minute it’s raining and windy!! That wind is no joke!!! It was 32 outside but with that wind it was like 20 degrees.
Please wear appropriate shoes for snow, gravel, lava rock, ice. You will slip wearing normal flat bottom sneakers or cute little boots for your social media pictures. But if you don’t want to be adventurous and daring the flat bottom sneakers & boots are fine.

Great tour from Walter. Recommended for everyone visiting Iceland. The trip visited waterfalls, glacier, black sand beach and some great view points and Walter's information and good humour was spot on throughout.

Such a great experience! Our tour guide Walter was very knowledgable about his home country, and such a laugh and was excellent with all the tourists. Highly recommend, and the company Nice Travel is the one I’d recommend for everyone to use!

There aren’t enough stars to express how amazing this tour was. Christina was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. Her calmness, passion and enthusiastic commentary matched with brilliant wit, humour and fun made the day, without question an experience that will stay with me forever.
And that’s before I even talk about the remarkable natural beauty of her office! Wow, wow, wow!!
She chose to do the tour in reverse to ensure we got to see the sights in the best light. It culminated in a magnificent sunset viewing of 2 waterfalls. Utterly magical!
