Luigi gave us a wonderful excursion! We were met right at the port and Luigi took time to discuss the best way to visit the Amalfi region. He stopped for photo opportunities at the best views. He showed us where to go and gave us time to explore on our own. We had a stunning view of Sorrento, then spent a lovely 90 minutes in Positano on our own. He took us to Sorrento ahead of the big tour buses, so we could maximize our time. He even made a reservation for us at Donna Sofia Ristorante. Great pizza and salad! We explored Sorrento on our own for 3 hours and he got us back to the ship ahead of traffic and in time. Fabulous day and I highly recommend Luigi!

Luigi promptly met us at port with a nice minivan. We discussed the best use of time to maximize touring. Skipped Amalfi for more Sorrento time. He stopped for unique views and kept our attention about the area. We stopped above Sorrento for photos and gifts, then pressed on to Positano, beautiful village with lots of shopping and a cafe for cappuccino. He gave us 1 1/4 hour to meander. We pressed on to Sorrento where he took us to the best view and showed us Donna Sofia restaurant, having already made a reservation for us. Fabulous pizza! He gave us 3 hours to explore Sorrento on our own. He found ways to avoid most traffic and was entertaining.

I highly recommend requesting Marco as your private driver. He made our trip along the Amalfi Coast incredible with his thoughtful recommendations, adventurous pit stops, and informative dialogue.
