Cozumel is the largest island in Mexico, a true paradise for lovers of nature and holidays in an environment of peace and tranquility.

This tourist destination can be considered as an unrivaled, magical, and wonderful place. It is an island nestled within the framework of the Caribbean Sea, considered one of the most beautiful in the world. You can perceive, that despite being a very old tourist destination, it has preserved the picturesque of the small towns of Mexico, as well as its traditions.

We will take to meet "El Cielo" that is a sandbank located 800 meters from the coasts of Cozumel. It gets its name because in this place you can swim and snorkel and see in the background a lot of starfish.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: During September 2023, the Palancar and Colombia reefs will be closed, due to the protection and care of the marine life of the natural reserve. Therefore, we will be visiting Xhul ha and Palancar (Herradura) reefs instead. Thank you for your understanding.

The transportation logistics of this tour were the most unorganized and discombobulated of any tour I’ve ever done. I was almost an hour late getting picked up according to the time on my ticket. I called and texted the operator twice, who told me I should have received an email with the actual pickup time, but I never saw it. Then I was left in a gas station parking lot while they figured out how to get me to the marina. At the marina, I was left in a tourist shop while we waited for the actual tour guide. I seriously thought I was being punked or about to get kidnapped. Once the guide arrived late, I was told to wander around until time to get in line for the ferry, which didn’t leave for an hour. All in all, it took o almost 5 HOURS of travel to get into the water from my hotel just north of PdC!!
The snorkeling was great, as was the boat crew, but that was the only good part.
The lunch had no veg protein option, so that wasn’t good. We were told we had to make our own way back to the ferry terminal, which I wasn’t aware we had to do, so that was an extra cost.
Getting back to my hotel went smoother, but we got back an hour later than expected.
All in all, I can’t recommend this trip b/c of the travel time and unorganized logistics.
