Magical experience! The crew are so knowledgeable and fun. We went on the 9 pm snorkel. At first I felt impatient...no mantas. Just loads of plankton and minnows swirling around your face and arms, getting in between your fingers. After about 10-15 minutes, one smaller male manta appeared, followed by four huge females. Incredible experience! It felt like a dream.

We did the night manta ray tour and it was one of the best activities we did during our 10-day stay! The crew was fun and we were able to see 7 mantas!! Such an amazing experience that I would recommend to everyone!

Everything about this tour was so easy and well organized. Staff was welcoming, friendly AND patient with helping people to get to/from the snorkeling float. The entry from the catamaran into the water is the easiest I’ve ever experienced! Nice non-slip steps that allow you to descend face forward and just float into the water, which sure makes it so much easier for us oder folks. Seeing these manta rays was exhilarating, stunning, amazing, beautiful, other-worldly…….. I would do this tour again the next time I’m in Hawaii and I would love to do their daytime snorkeling tour also.

We participated to 2 trips with Sea Paradise: one for the manta rays and one for snorkeling. They are a very experienced and fun team. They do their best to satisfy the clients. We managed to change the date of the trip. During the snorkeling, my mask was fogging, because it was new. They insisted to solve the problem: they put tooth paste and gave the mask back to me 10 minutes later. A few minutes later, the lady came back with a bottle of baby shampoo (diluted), suggesting to use that in the future. You can fully trust them for the manta rays trip. They take you at the stairs of the boat and bring you back whenever you ask for it. I saw plenty of manta rays! I strongly recommend this team....

This experience far exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and gave easy to follow instructions, as well as lots of facts while we were out floating.
I’m thankful we took the early tour. Our group of 7 sat on the front ropes of the boat as we went to the snorkeling area (about a 15-20 min ride) just as the sun was setting. It was amazing.
To get to the float, you swim out single file and hold onto the handles. They give you a noodle to put under your ankles so you can effortlessly float and look into the water.
We were fortunate to see 5-7 mantas feeding. The swam under us and right in front of us. While you aren’t allowed to touch them, they will sometimes gently brush against your arm. It’s not scary, but thrilling! Leave the go-pro & underwater cameras an enjoy this in the moment.
The “light snacks” are sodas offered on the way out and hot chocolate, tea or cider on the ride back. They offer you a piece of candy as you exit. Let’s be honest though, you’re not here for the snacks.
I would recommend this tour to anyone considering it and it was 100% worth what we spent.

Fun guides who made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, while making sure everyone was in safe hands from start to finish. Comfortable and clean catamaran to bring us to the Manta Ray Village. Knowledgeable guides who explained everything we needed to know about Manta rays throughout the snorkeling experience. A minor point: It would be helpful to have a sign near the pier as Sea Paradise’s catamaran is parked near the end without many lights, so it was a bit hard to find at night.

Nice boat, nice stories, no good wetsuits if you are a slender surfer/swimmer body type.
I would have you bring your own wetsuit for the 9pm viewing because planking on the ocean surface with water rushing up your oversized/stretched out wetsuit legs, chest, arms, and neck for 40 minutes will be very frigid. I’ve done 6 hour cold weather dives and apnea trainings that were much more endurable than this snorkel experience because the wetsuit was skin tight as it is designed to be.
I did go back and try to get a better suit from the staff with the first one they provided, but it was even worse and staff seemed unconcerned with what I was saying thinking I was some newbie. I live here in Hawaii and expect some relaxed vibes but this was a bit stressful.
Only thing keeping me in the water and giving more stars is the majestic manta rays that provide an experience like nowhere else in the world.

Fun, knowledgeable crew who truly have a love for the Mantas! We were impressed with how they handled our kids especially when one wanted to quit early. The team member took time to help him feel more confident and then shared some cool facts with him. Amazing experience, highly recommend!
