A great day out on Snaefellsnes in a very comfortable mini bus with a very knowledgeable and pleasant driver. Beautiful part of the country with so much to see - the only downside was the weather so we didn’t get to see the glacier.
The trip was very well organised with plenty of comfort stops and we were picked up right on time.

Wow! A long day, but worth it to see the diverse scenery of this amazing country. From cliffs, lava fields, waterfalls, black sand beach, mountains, a church to some seals. It was truly beautiful.

Had a very nice day stopping at loads of locations including Church Mountain and a 6,000 year old Volcano. Gilfi our tour guide was good, answered our questions that me and other people on the bus had. If you go and it’s snowy must advise to wear crampons at every location due to the ice!

Great day out!

The lonely mountain (Kirkjufell Mountain) is a must-see, and perhaps is more spectacular than its photos. Small wooden churches (e.g., Bjarnarhöfn Church) in lava fields can be found perhaps in Iceland only... Our tour guide is a geographist, and told us a lot of the Peninsula and Iceland in general. We really learned a lot.

The places were nice but the driver gave us 1hour instead of 1/2 he admitted and was not very vocal .
There is too long of a stop just for us to shop I think .

The guide was excellent. Despite huge distance covered she managed to show a lot of places. It was small bus with 13 tourists.

Very much enjoyed the day going around Snaefellsnes. Our driver and guide was Margret, who was knowledgeable (especially about geology and community history) and personable, and added in bathroom stops and photo opps for us. The amount of time in each place was appropriate to what there was to see and do. We especially enjoyed the beaches and waterfalls. We visited in July, and the weather was great but of course windy. It was a long day but didn't feel long until afterward.

From Skardsvik beach to Anarstapi, it is a beautiful place. The best however was definitely Kirjufell!

Jon was our driver and guide and he was wonderful. He deserves 5 stars for his knowledge, safe driving, and personality. The bus was clean, but the seats are small. From pickup to the first stop was about one hour. It was a gas station and rest stop with bathrooms and many food choices and snacks to purchase for lunch. The second stop was another hour drive. Each stop required a walk to get to the area of interest. Some walks were 10 minutes there and back, others were 45, so be prepared for lots of walking. I found several of the sights, such as the crater, not worth the walk. The highlight of the tour for me was the last stop at the beach with seals visible in the water. Further, there were two other bathroom stops along the way. At drop-off, Jon was very accommodating when some guests decided to change their drop-off locations. From pick-up to drop-off was 10 1/2 hours. Of all the tours during this past week, this was my least favorite.
