The jeep tour was alot of fun. Our guide, Sam, was friendly and knowlegeable, and worked hard to make sure we had a good experience. It was only my two friends and I on our tour so we had lots of time to interact and ask questions. We thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the off-road section!

It was nice we really enjoyed our tour with Mark our guide. We stop at some great spots and I met Dave at the fried pies pallor and he also from Cincinnati and a Bengals fan. Small world!

Jeff was a wonderful and very informative guide. He knew exactly how to tailor our trip to accommodate my 82-year-old mother-in-law and made sure that it was a memorable experience for all of us.. we especially enjoyed the four-wheel-drive experience at the end of the tour. Jeff made it extra special for my mother-in-law and believe me at 82. It was an absolute hilariously, fun and adventurous time.

I read many reviews before booking this, and debated whether or not to do it. Yes, it's true that you can drive the majority of the tour yourself, but what I found invaluable was the information that our driver gave us. Our driver was David, and he was very friendly and super informative. I would recommend going early in your stay, so you can get the most out of the information they give - we had only planned on going to the Great Smokies National Park one day, but went back after our Jeep tour to check out some of the other things David showed us. Unfortunately, it was very foggy the morning we went on the Jeep tour, so we didn't have the views I was hoping for, but that is not something Smoky Mountains Jeep Tour Company can control. Overall, I would highly recommend this place!

We took the tour to get an overview of the Smokies and we got just that! It's nice to be able to sit back and look at the scenery with someone else driving! We had two kids aged 9 with us, and they enjoyed it as well. Our guide let us out at several lookout points for pictures and a bathroom break. You're allowed to take a drink and snacks. Don't forget your jacket because it gets chilly at the high altitude. The last part of the ride was a little off road backroad experience.
If you have a sensitive stomach, or get car sick, this might not be for you. You are buckled in the jeep and there are straps to hokd on, but you're going to get jiggled around, there's no way around it.

Not what we expected at all…thought it would be an off-road experience on small jeeps to see waterfalls and back-country instead of a 10 person vehicular that stuck to the main roads (which we could have done in our own car)! The guide was excellent…very knowledge, friendly, and helpful—not his fault the trip was not good! He did take us down a rough road for about 10 min. Spent too much time going thru Townsend rather than the park.

My partner was not so thrilled about the idea of taking the jeep tour at all , but somehow I think Jeff , our driver gives us one heck of ride for an April Fool’s Day tour not that we all gasped at the wonderful view and sights on the mountain top but the excitement gets real on our drive around the country side of the apple cider factory when Jeff plunges into that narrow road and up we went in the air better than a roller coaster ride .. 😂weee everyones mouth were wide open , to the point that we all screamed for more dives 😂😂😂
I guess Jeff’s 3 hours video training paid off . Did I mention that even the dog 🐶 was bark less to such an awesome experience !!!

Due to the time of year and a storm earlier in the week, several of the sights my wife wanted to see were unavailable (to early for Clingman's Dome and downed trees blocked access to Cades Cove). Luckily, I had booked the Newfound Gap Jeep Tour earlier in the week. I believe our group was one of the first solo tours given by our guide, Mindy, but you never would have known it. She was very knowledgeable about Smoky Mountain Park (she had worked there, and in other National Parks, for the Park Service previously), and took us to some beautiful spots. The tour was relaxed and enjoyable with wonderful views and my son really enjoyed the off-roading course we did outside of the park to close the tour.
