small groups SAFARI to Marietas Islands including Hidden Beach

I don’t write many reviews, and when I do it’s easy to lapse into tired adjectives (awesome, fantastic, amazing :) I will try to avoid that here. First time to Puerto Vallarta. Went online to see best things to do. Marietas Islands. Looked for trip to do snorkeling. Saw review of Oceanus on Trip Advisor and booked through Trip Advisor. It was outstanding. One the best vacation adventures ever. Eduordo reached out, no issues getting there, getting to coopertiva for the boat. Great crew. Young kid swam with my iPhone held up out of the water so I could use it at Hidden Beach. I had forgotten a container. Cool birds, breaching whales, outstanding snorkeling, and when we returned to shore Eduordo had fish tacos and a whole spread at a palapa set up. We watched pelicans dive bomb the marina while we ate. I cannot recommend Oceanus and Eduordo highly enough, and do not miss the Marietas Islands.

Wonderful trip! Eduardo, Julien, and everyone else are so passionate about what they do! Definitely a must-do. The scenery was incredible, great snorkeling, and the fish at the end (catch of the day) was the best meal we’ve had yet! Highly recommend!

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on period. Eduardo and his crew truly cared about and delivered a very memorable experience. They took us to several magical spots around the islands including the hidden beach, secret beach, and beautiful landmarks around the islands. They provided excellent snorkel gear and we saw tons of tropical fish. It really felt like an intimate experience. Though we saw other groups around, it really wasnt overun and crowded thanks to all the regulation rules for conservation. The crew went out of their way to help take wonderful photos for everyone. You could tell they cared about our safety and education, and our quality of experience. One of the best parts was the end when the crew prepared us excellent baja style fish tacos, provided beers, and appetizers using the freshest ingredients. It was all so well done and I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Eduardo was absolutely amazing! The entire experience was perfect. Hidden beach, snorkeling, sprayed by the blow hole, the boobies, and then topped off by amazing fresh caught ceviche on the beach! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Breathtakingly beautiful!

The guides were friendly and knowledgeable about the marine life and the history of the area. The snorkeling and cave excursions were beautiful, with lots of birds, crabs, fish and coral. We felt we were able to have a more personalized experience in the smaller group setting compared to some of the larger groups we saw. We were originally a little nervous about accessing the hidden beach by swimming through the cave entrance but the guides made it all very safe and easy to navigate. We had a great experience. The cold beer and freshly-made ceviche at the trip’s end were a special touch and made the trip even more memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to do another tour with them in the future.

My family and I took two different boats with this company the day before my wedding. After we went to hidden beach, the captain of one of the boats floored it into a cliff and totaled the boat.

The top of the boat was destroyed and the motor stopped working. All the employees on the boat froze up and had no idea what to do. Thankfully, my uncle and other family members knew a bit about boats and helped out. There was no cell service, so we were sitting out in the ocean for about an hour not sure what to do.

Eventually, they got another boat out there to pick up my family off of the crashed boat. It was so traumatizing that we did not finish the rest of the tour and headed back to the resort.

The owner of the company refused to give us a full refund (only 50%) and tried to get us to sign sketchy paperwork. We have a video of the whole incident (posted a screenshot).

This business should not be operating after this life-threatening experience.

The guides and the captain were very experienced and in-tune with our needs. They took care to make it the best personalized experience for our group. They took us to a great snorkeling spot where we all saw many varieties of colorful fish. The food was made fresh at the beach at the end of our trip. It was delicious. The beach at the end of the trip was even a great destination!

One of the best excursions I've been on in Puerto Vallarta. A must do! Put it on your bucket list. Eduardo will take great care of you and make sure you have the best day! Highly recommend this tour company.
