Kasteel de Haar is only a 45 minutes’ drive away from Amsterdam and takes you back in time. Castle de Haar is a tour worth taking and our guide Sarah was great. We had time to explore both inside and out and enjoyed learning the story of the castle.

If you are debating on choices for day trips from Amsterdam, select this tour and it won’t disappoint. The castle and its grounds are not too far outside the city. The buildings and gardens are impressive from the outside but the interior of the castle is incredibly preserved and decorated beautifully. Our guide Ava told facts and stories in each room that made the visit to this exquisite home come alive! It made #1 for my most favorite tourist attractions in this city and there’s a lot of competition in Amsterdam for that ranking! Don’t miss Castle De Haar.

This tour was excellent and our guide Sarah was the best. It is truly a small group tour, 3 people on mine, and it just made the e prueben better. Also, she was flexible in her time which allowed us to explore on our own too. Then she gave us choice of a couple of restaurants for lunch and the small farm restaurant we went to was amazing. Definitely recommend this tour. Also, Sarah gave me a suggestion for Delft as another city to visit and I’m glad she did cause it was awesome.

This was a delightful trip with a small group (three of us and our tour guide.) Ava, our guide, was great. She is very knowledgeable and brought other peers to bear to make our trip more informed. When we first looked at this trip, I was not really interested but in retrospect I was glad I went! The castle is gorgeous and its history incredible, especially the condition from which it was restored. There is so much to see at this castle that half a day doesn't do it justice, but it worked perfectly for us and our schedule. Ava was very accommodating and helpful. She was even helpful to tourists who had not booked her tour but were seeking help with another provider. I'd love to go back again just to take more pictures!

Eva is an amazing tour guide. Her knowledge and expertise are exceptional. She is sweet and friendly . She has great organization , communication,and effective time management skills.
