Our Small Group Pompeii and Amalfi Tour early departure is to guarantee a better experience of both Pompeii and the Amalfi coast that, during summer months are highly frequented. Leaving early will allow us to beat the crowds and enjoy an overall better experience. The tour features a private 2 hrs Pompeii tour with our local guide, including skip the line tickets, free time in Amalfi and Positano and a shared boat ride from Amalfi to Positano, that gives you the possibility to appreciate the enchanting landscape of the Amalfi coast from the sea. When, due to weather conditions, the shared boat ride will not be feasable, you’ll drive through the scenic Amalfi coast road to reach Positano. Enjoy free time in Positano for lunch and / or a swim in summer. After a rewarding day in this beautiful part of Italy, we’ll make our way back to Rome arriving at 6.30/7.00pm circa.

Our tour guide, Ciro, was very informative! He brought Pompeii to life for us. He provided little tidbits that we would have missed just walking the site on our own.

The MINIVAN that they crammed 9 ADULTS in for the 12 hour trip smelled like feet. Driver (who did not introduce himself) could not/would not speak English expertly, as described. From Pompeii to Rome he yelled into his phone for hours as he ignored us. He acted like we didn't exist. I felt very unsafe with this behavior.
In addition, the meal that was furnished was bland and tasteless. The only redeeming factor is that there was not much of it.
The Pompeii Tour Guide was Excellent. Hats off to Ciro: a wonderful, engaging, knowledgeable guide. He salvaged the whole day.

Pompeii guide was great & very knowledgeable.
Unfortunately we missed out on the lunch due to others cancelling so not enough people.
Pick-up was hassle free & our car driver was great.

Great day taking in the scenery of the Sorrento and Positano coast, a fabulous lunch with a view, and Pompeii was the showstopper. Thank you Anne for a fabulous day in Italy with the family. Highly recommend this tour.

We loved the semi-private tour set up as we will only do those going forward. Roberto was a fantastic guide/driver and we throughly enjoyed speaking with him. No unexpected but the Amalfi Coast stop was just insanely crowded but nothing to be done for that but it was beautiful but a bit rushed with so many people smashing into the same location, but again that is what it is.
The lunch location and food/service were absolutely amazing. That was our best dinning experience for the entire week we were here that was just fantastic from food, to service, to location we loved it.
Lastly, Pompeii also exceeded our expectations as it was not too crowded and our guide Chiro was also an amazing guide for the tour. We throughly enjoyed Pompeii.
Great job all the way around and we thank you all for your efforts in making it an amazing day.

A lovely day! Yes it is a long day just bc of the driving, but Anna was a great driver and pleasant to be with as she explained the day and the sights to see. Lunch was perfect in a divine little family restaurant. Pompeii- the highlight! Ciro was one of the best guides we have had anywhere! Funny, engaging, so full of love for his heritage as a 4th generation Pompeian and guide! He is a treasure - we learned so much and we’re actually figuring things out in Rome by ourself bc of what we learned in Pompeii!

Both the driver and the tour guy at Pompeii were very nice and provide all explanations about the places seeing. The Pompeii tour guide has and showed in-depth knowledge of the site. Great experience that I recommend as a must-see while visiting Italy

Driving along the coast & stopping for pictures was amazing. Positano was beautiful. Our lunch looking over the water was relaxing & delicious.
Our guide in Pompeii, Ciro, was terrific.
Our driver/guide Anna, was awesome.
This was a wonderful trip from Rome.
