Everything exceeded my expectations. The tour operators, Danni and Michelle, made the experience so enjoyable and magical. Lunch was delicious and so diverse. I really felt like a hobbit living in Middle Earth. Highly recommend to everyone.

A wonderful driver with a enjoyable sense of humour.
Hobbit Town is absolutely beautiful. 10 out of 10. The buffet lunch was fantastic 😋 and the guide was very informative definitely explained everything you wanted.
Very well done to all involved.

We were fortunate to have Damian as our guide on our trip from Auckland to the Hobbiton movie set. Damian is knowledgeable not only about Hobbiton and the making of the movies, but all things New Zealand, and was open to answering any and all questions. What a delightful day! We felt so incredibly lucky to have Damian as our guide and feel like we’ve made a new friend. This will be one of the highlights of our trip.

This was a wonderful experience for a lifelong Tolkien fan...of the books and the films. Walking inside an actual Hobbit Hole was amazing! Visiting Hobbiton was both exciting and interesting, especially in terms of film-making. I had a great time. The only downside was the size of the groups. I booked what I thought would be a much smaller 'small group' tour, not understanding the small group applied to the travel van from Auckland, not the tour itself.
