Small-Group Golden Circle Full-Day Tour from Reykjavik

I've never been to any place on earth that is as wonderfully strange as Iceland, and this tour helps to reveal the island's wonder and beauty. From learning about how the geothermal forces benefit the population and the agriculture to seeing amazing landscapes to a dip in a hot spring, this was a wonderful introduction to Iceland.

When we booked the itinerary was a bit different as we saw Kerid crater rather than going to the tomato farm (when we looked into it the tomato farm had no availability left) so we didn’t get lunch provided but it was a fantastic trip with so much to see. Our guide, Thor, was really funny and personable, giving us lots of interesting information along the way. We saw fantastic scenery. There was a stop at a bakery early on (the best doughnuts I’ve ever had) and an additional stop to say a quick hello to some gorgeous Icelandic horses. Stokkur Geyser is a must-see, the entire site is really interesting and the geyser goes off as frequently as every 7 minutes or so. Thingvillier National Park is stunning, look out for the views of the lake from the minibus. It does get busy there but we waited until most of the crowds had set off before we walked down the path and it was much nicer. There’s a view of the house and church as well as endless miles of beautiful countryside. A really peaceful and unusual place.
I’d highly recommend going on this tour with Arctic Adventures - we also did the South Coast with glacier hike tour with them which was really good too. The day was interesting and great fun throughout and so well organised. Definitely worth the money!

We had a lovely day out with Anastasia being our guide. Took in geysers, waterfalls, and the Secret Lagoon and lots of other sites. Comfortable bus, and well organised.

23rd November I did the Golden circle day tour (incl Faxi Waterfall). This was my first trip to Iceland and the trip completely exceeded my expectations. It was perfectly timed, great tour guide Ian and I would book with Artic adventures again if I return to Iceland. Thank you so much!

It was a great tour with a guide named Ronan. The bus was clean and easy. He had good information, great stories, and a phenomenal attitude.

Driver was late and forgot to pick up a guest. After that it was just down hill. We were not informed on where to stand to see the geyser, many on the tour missed it. A potentially good day/tour turned into a less than average day/tour.

My son and I had a fantastic day in the Golden Circle tour with Artic Adventures. The tour included the right balance of activities and we had a fantastic guide that was helpful and practical, I left something in the bus by mistake and they were super helpful, My son and I loved every minute of this tour including the secret lagoon!

Our driver, Anna, was wonderful! She made the trip personal with stories from a real Icelander. The tour was what we expected from reading, but we were so glad to be in the small group rather than on a big tour bus. Thanks.
