The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Florence. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

We get to see the local eatery scene. The tour guides were very sweet. We would prefer a bit more explanation of the food and especially the establishments/ristorante. The tour group is very sociable and we enjoy each other.

Highly recommended! The tour which takes you to a variety of places starting with an enoteca, then a few trattorias and ends at a gelateria. The tour also takes you through the streets of Florence with some quick stops to explain the history. Our guide, Sasha, was knowledgeable and filled of energy which made for a fun tour.
A glass of wine is provided at the first stop but if you would like to sample more Tuscan wines at each stop then you can purchase the wine card at the time of booking or just order and pay at each stop.
Do bring your appetite as there is a lot of food on offer, and you must leave room for gelato at the end!

We did the food tour with Sacha and she was amazing! She was super friendly, answered all of our questions, and even took us on a few small detours to show us notable touristy spots. Would highly recommend doing this tour with Sacha!

Even though the weather was absolutely miserable, (pouring rain) this was a wonderful experience. We tried wonderful, traditional dishes, visited a few small-run businesses keeping it real, and we left very full. We never felt rushed, as can be the case with some tours, and we gained a lot of insight about traditions and the city itself.

We have done food tours in multiple locations around the world and have looked forward to them. Our host for this experience was not a fan of the city or country we were in, was generally condescending, not engaging for particularly friendly. We were not impressed with this tour, while the food was ate was fairly good - the experience was not very good due to the poor host.

Had a wonderful time. Learned some interesting facts about the local cuisine and wine, all while sampling some truly delicious food. Our guide Francesco was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend.
