We meet in central Florence at our Grape Tours office, please be around 15 minutes early to check in.
In a small group of min 4 and max 8, we will head out in a comfortable coach and visit 3 wonderful family-owned, high-quality organic wineries in Chianti where we will be welcomed at each place to taste delightful wines (mainly Chianti & Super Tuscans), enjoying private visits at each place.
You will learn heaps from your friendly English-speaking wine expert guide, taste at least 12 different wines during the day (generous pours) & enjoy an organic farm-to-table lunch to really take in the Tuscan flavors.
Did we mention the views? Each winery is in a stunning location surrounded by grapevines, olive groves, cypress-lined lanes, and endless Tuscan rolling hills.
This is a great tour for wine lovers but also amateurs who are curious to learn more or simply want to enjoy a great day out from Florence in the dazzling wine country.

This tour was a highlight of our recent trip to Tuscany! We chose this tour due to its small size ( max of 8 participants) and itinerary. We toured three unique wineries, enjoyed a traditional Tuscan lunch, and learned about the art of Pecorino cheese making at the third winery. Our tour guide, Matteo, is a sommelier whose knowledge of wine, and his 'humor' enhanced our experience! In fact, we also signed up for the Elite Brunello Montalcino tour a few days later and were fortunate to have Matteo once again. Regards from your Nebraska friends!

Our Chianti winery tour was a highlight of our week in Italy. Gabriella was a fun guide, safe driver, and excellent teacher. We learned so much! Each farm we visited treated us like family, and we had the opportunity to try amazing wines and cheeses. The drive between farms was beautiful. Highly recommend!

The best wine tour I’ve ever been on (and I’ve done them across the globe) and easily one of my favorite days in Italy. I think it helped that we had amazing weather and a fun group but Grape Tours made the experience. Mateo was extremely knowledgeable not only on the specific wines we were drinking, food pairings, and the wine making process as a whole but also on the history of Florence and Tuscany. It was great to have a Florence local telling us about the area that he grew up in and his passion for wine and Tuscany truly came through in his work. I would recommend this experience to anyone. The 3 wineries/farms we went to were different and offered different experiences and I felt like they were thoughtfully chosen. The employees at each winery/farm/dairy were so knowledgeable about their craft. I never felt uncomfortably forced to purchase anything though everything was so tasty I wanted to buy everything!

The entire experience was amazing. The wineries were great, as was the dairy farm. Clemente was exceptional- he is incredibly personable and knowledgeable, providing us with one the highlights of our trip! Thank you Clemente!

This was one of the highlights of our two weeks in Italy! Our guide, Matteo, was exceptional - not only so knowledgable about wine, but so helpful with other tips for being first timers in Italy/Tuscany. The first winery was small and lovely and we really learned so much about the process for small, family producers. The lunch at the next stop was really a treat - and the natural wines they are producing were excellent! And finally, the dairy stop had some of the best views of the trip, along with great wine and cheese pairings. We just can't say enough good things and would recommend this to anyone visiting Tuscany for the first time (or the fifth time)!

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Florence! We were in a small group of 6 people. Matteo was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable about Florentine history and wine as he is a sommelier. We learned so much about the wine making process, specifically in the Chianti region. Each visit to the winery and farm feature four very delicious wines and at the last one a cheese pairing/dairy visit. Every place had a very local and welcoming feel. I would absolutely go on another grape tour and recommend this one to any one traveling to Florence.
