Tour guide did nothing. Gave us a map and went to the bar for gin. Said she would be there until our meeting time. Instead of doing that, she could have guided us to the gardens; which we missed. Guide fell asleep on the bus ride back.

Amber is a great guide. Bus driver too. Loved the small group. Loved how Amber related her film pictures to the actual places on Downton Abbey.

My husband and I were very excited to be on a tour of Highclere Castle. We loved all of the sites we visited, that were associated with the show Downton Abbey and also with the Castle's history. The gift of a recipe book from Highclere was a wonderful surprise. Our driver was very skilled and we enjoyed the trip.

We were disappointed with our tour guide. He gave us minimal information at the sites, but we felt that there were a lot of times he could have given more information but didn't. We also got the feeling that he was only there for a pay check. When speaking to other guests on the tour, they gave us the same indication about the tour guide.

Loved visiting Cogges, Swan Inn, Burford and Highclere castle. Good driver and guide was good. Would have liked a little more history talks along the way. Overall a great trip. Back of the van/coach was a little bumpy and swayed - got a little car sick.

The tour we took to Cobbes Farm, Bampton and Highclere Castle was amazing, our tour guide, Catherine, made it such a fun and interesting day. Her knowledge and snippets of information about Downton Abbey/Highclere as well as other related subjects really set the scene for each of the locations.
The tour was very well organised, picked up on time and we were given lots of time and information to explore the farm, village and the castle.
The whole day was a delight and we had a most enjoyable time!

Toby, our tour guide was a wonderful wealth of information. He made every step of the tour memorable with stories and sharing photos of scenes from Downton Abbey in the places we stopped to visit. I highly recommend this tour. It exceeded my expectations. I loved that it was a small coach with only 10 people in the group. That made it a much more intimate experience.
Christos, our driver, was an expert in handling the narrow roads. As much as I loved seeing Highclere Castle inside and out, I think my favorite stop was Cogges Manor Farm, which was a pleasant surprise. The Village of Bampton and the ladies in the gift shop were lovely. It all made me want to watch the entire series all over again. Filming on the new movie begins next month.

Talking with the the Duke and his wife while they were doing a photo shoot outside in the gardens before anyone else noticed them and it got a little crowded around them.
