We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour around Athens. Andreas was very good in providing some history and information on what we were tasting. All food was excellent, and the establishments were places we wouldn't have found on our own. Had a great time and ended up full!

We had a wonderful food tour with a knowledgeable host, Elissavet. She went out of her way to cater to our interests, and she had great facts about Athens and Greek culture and history. We learned a lot about Greek food and the city, and we really appreciated the follow up email with suggestions for the rest of our trip. It was very thoughtful. Well worth the time and cost! Elissavet was delightful and really enhanced our experience.

Elena did an excellent job guiding us through Athens and teaching us about Greek food. It was a very fun and delicious experience!! Would do it again in a heartbeat! She also gave great advice on some restaurants and bars to try out on our own. Thanks Elena and Alternative Athens!!

Elissavet was such a lovely guide. Not only was she very knowledgeable about the food and the processes behind it, but she was a caring person who seemed to have all of our interests at heart. As a solo traveler, she made me feel very welcomed.
The food of course, was great too, and there was a good variety of different dishes. While most of the dishes started off small, by the last stop there was plenty to eat and I was completely full by the end of the tour.

The food tasting was great with a wide variety of different foods to try.. Our guide Elissavet was very informative of the different foods and gow they are made. Great introduction to food found in Athens.

This was an amazing Food Tour and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Greece! Vassia was such a personable and fun tour guide.? Not only did we sample a variety of Greek foods but she shared so much of her culture and Greek history with us. We highly recommend this tour!!!
