HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ioana was an amazing tour guide! You could tell that she has a passion for Romanian history and culture, which shined through in all of her stories. I strongly recommend this tour for anyone interested in Romanian history, culture, and with a desire to see the country side.

Excellent excursion with a small group. There were 6 plus driver/guide. Commentary was pertinent and timely. Stops were timely. Enough time at each venue. It was a long day (12+ hours).

We have just completed the one-day tour of Transylvania, visiting Dracula's Castle and Peles Castle. Unfortunately, the English-speaking guide proved to be unprofessional, preferring to shout rather than speak. Furthermore, during the tour, they would run without ever turning back to check if we were all present. On the return journey, they continued to speak (shout) in Romanian with the driver, insulting Italians who didn't speak English, oblivious to the fact that some of us could understand Romanian. Not recommended!!!!

Matthew was very knowledgeable. The transportation was smooth and comfortable. We loved that we got our own time to explore. The only constructive feedback I have is to provide recommendations of what to do or where to eat in your free time. Thank you for making our tour memorable!

Getting an overview of the city Bucharest if you haven't seen it, but getting out to enjoy the scenery. Guide was entertaining and knowledgeable.
Peles Castle wonderful, (and we have seen many), Dracula castle of course for the fun of the legend..Brasov magical. Wished we could have eaten lunch or early dinner.
We encountered traffic issues, which is why this tour does not get full points, as some diversions and delays to the itinerary made for a 14.5 hour day.

We enjoyed our guide and bus driver very much. Both were excellent giving that the situation in Bucharest was challenging(marathon, traffic, etc)
One suggestion is a bathroom break at a gas station before getting to Transylvania. The bathrooms at the castle were minimal with long, long lines
But we enjoyed Ioana’s enthusiasm and knowledge of the area very much. Julian’s skills at driving those roads was exceptional.

It was a well planned trip with an organised and knowledgeable guide. I would suggest paying the guide in cash and let him buy the castle tickets. There was little waiting time and please note that collection times differ based on pickup point.

Great guide - very knowledgeable and informative. Unfortunately the venues were extremely crowded and the traffic was terrible but she gave us her best anyway!

Walking around Brasov, seeing the castles and hearing the history from our guide. She made the country come alive and gave us an understanding of the spirit of the people.

It was great travel to see 2 beautiful castle and nice town of Brashow. Would have been better if instructions on weather should have been given in advance since it was cold on Peles castle being in mountain and we were not prepared since temperature difference between Bucharest and Peles is significant.
