This is the most complete small group tour for up 8 people and we visit the interior of monuments that others don't see, and all tickets are included.
Arriving in Braga, we will start by visiting the Bom Jesus Sanctuary and contemplating its magnificent staircase to the top of the church.
After a top view of the city, time to visit the oldest cathedral in the country where we will have exclusive access to the chapels and high choir of the monument.
A delicious traditional Portuguese lunch will be served in a restaurant where you can taste the so famous "Vinho Verde".
During the afternoon we visit Guimarães when we have time for a calm walk on foot through the medieval city where we will enter in his Castle that was known for the birth of a new kingdom: Portugal.
Then we will visit the Palace of the Dukes where we are dazzled by the luxuries of royalty from other times. A whole history of Portugal will be told by our local guides who have always followed the group.

Could not have asked for more...Ricardo was professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about everything...he was very tactful in sharing his advice to two older people regarding the advisability of climbing all those steps and gently persuaded them to accompany him in the van to the top.
The towns were wonderful and even better than the description in the brochure. and the lunch was at a local place with the food very authentic and very, very good.
We were never rushed but gently moved to keep a light schedule in order to accomplish everything targeted.
In the end, the tour delivered! and I am typically not a "tour" person, but this convinced me that I would have missed most of what was seen and experienced, had I attempted to do it on my own.
One last comment: value for the money was absolutely wonderful as this tour was worth its weight in gold!

We had an excellent day trip to Braga and Gimaraes with Sergio! He was very knowledgeable, very friendly and attentive, spoke very good English. Communication about pick-up etc. was very clear and the program was also very well composed. If (or when) we come back to Porto we will definitely book a wine tasting tour with them :)

Ricardo Olivera is well versed and very articulate with all his informations. Professional and conscientious,Voice well modulated and it's easy to understand.We have minor mishap but he was able to conduct and manage the tour as scheduled..Highly recommended.

This was a great experience and I recommend it for everyone. We had a small group of 3 with Pedro as our guide. I find on these tours, and especially the small ones, your guide makes all the difference. Pedro was just exemplary. He has a wealth of knowledge on so many relevant topics. He has a particular expertise in Catholicism which was so useful on this trip. Also, the lunch that’s included far exceeded my expectations. You get a 3 course meal at one of the best restaurants in Braga, a beautiful place.
