The experience was fabulous , even though it was a rainy day, it still a success. I highly recommend to anyone that enjoys wine and a real feast ( come hungry) to take the grape tours. The guides are very knowledgeable ( we had Jean ) and really take their time to explain the wine culture in Florence as well as the different wine regions. We will come again and next time will also do the olive oil and cheese tastings. Thank you Rebecca and Jean

Worth it! John Marco was our guide and knew anything and everything about the wine, Tuscany, etc. The wineries were beautiful and lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend!

Started our day at the wine and cheese shop!!!! Love the vibe! We had the most amazing day visiting family organic wineries and stunning landscape and country paths to reach them. Then lunch at Dario’s Antica Macellaria Cecchini at Panzano in the cave/cellar room was just unreal. Our guide Gabri was hilarious! Highly recommend

Our tour guide Ben was excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional. He taught a great deal about growing wine and olives that was extremely helpful for a novice like me. The wine and food was excellent. The lunch at Dario Cecchinis butcher shop was outstanding. Ben helped us stick to the schedule while we never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this company for your next tour.

Couldn’t have been a better experience. Amazing wineries, over the top lunch w Darrio! Driver was a level 4 som so was more than knowledgeable about all wines from around the world and specifically this region. Will tour with Grape Tours again!

I will take this tour again when I come back to Florence! It exceeded my expectations. The small group really adds to the atmosphere. Our guide, Matteo was awesome - funny and super knowledgeable! The lunch at the famous butcher was so unique and a once in a lifetime experience. The roads can get windy but Matteo was a great driver. Well worth it!

A great day indeed. Gabrielli was fabulous. Learned a lot and Chianti and Tuscan wines and tasted a few that were exceptional. The winery properties were beautiful and the lunch with Dario was outstanding. Very memorable day!

As a wine (and Tuscany) lover, I decided to book a Super Chianti tour as part of my honeymoon after reading several positive reviews online. Everything was confirmed well in advance and copious details about our tour were available with those confirmation emails. I was slightly nervous that our tour would get cancelled after I received an email asking to switch tours due to low bookings (we went during the slow season) and we couldn't change because of our travel plans. However, we received a confirmation 24 hours ahead that our tour would proceed as scheduled and we were pleasantly surprised to find out upon checking in that my wife and I would be the only ones on our 7 hour trip!
Our driver (and guide) Gabriele was amazing. Not only was he knowledgeable about the wines of Chianti, but as a formally trained Sommelier, he was also able to share incredible insights into wines from around the world. It led to some great conversations on our drives between stops throughout the day. He led our private tour at the first winery, teaching us about the growing, harvesting, and production process and frequently offered to take pictures for us throughout the vineyard. This visit was capped off with a wine and cheese tasting, before we headed off to lunch at Dario Cecchini's famous restaurant and butcher shop.
As a steak and beef lover, lunch was a hit. The views from our table were stunning and the food was simple yet incredibly delicious. Gabriele joined us and continued to share stories and insights about his time in Tuscany and the wine industry. While the meat was amazing, the olive oil cake is a must try!
On our second winery visit of the day, we again went for a short tour, this time led by winery staff, and then sat outside (in February no less!) to enjoy several wines and just take in the peace and quiet of the countryside. Gabriele never rushed us, and just let us enjoy the time together, waiting until we were ready before taking us back into Florence.
The day-long tour was easily one of the highlights of our honeymoon. The weather was beautiful as was the scenery, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. If you're a first-time visitor to Florence and are looking to explore the countryside, I'd highly recommend a tour with Grape Tours!

We had the best time on the Super Chianti tour. Gabriella our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and lots of fun. The wineries were small and family owned in beautiful locations and lunch was outstanding. We loved meeting the other couples on the tour and we highly recommend this tour.
