Patricia was fabulous! Group offered options, great stories and context. Views were awesome, wildlife sanctuary a highlight, and impromptu interaction with cockatoos provided lots of laughs!

The trip was fantastic. We stopped at all the major viewing points and the Blue Mountains are stunning. Stopping in Leura for lunch was great and it's a quaint, pretty little town. Our guide Tony was a wealth of information and his deep knowledge of Australian and indigenous history enhanced the experience.

Featherdale Wildlife Park was incredible! We got to feed & cuddle with the kangaroos. Got a video of a koala that had a baby in its pouch. It was a once in a lifetime experience! Even though the rain & mist prevented us from being able to see most of the sights, the Blue Mountains tour was still so beautiful! Our guide Tony was fantastic!

We had an amazing day and it was all Thanks to our guide Ben-he truly was one of the best!! He shared a lot of information during our travel, was very friendly and geared us up for a beautiful day in the mountains. Despite the weather he showed us some stunning scenery and the sights of autumn were an absolute visual delight. It was so much fun feeding the kangaroos and having such a close encounter with the animals in the Featherdale wildlife park. Leura was a pretty village and Ben made sure we enjoyed our lunch there. I would definitely recommend this tour and if your guide is Ben then you are sure to have a great day!!

We joined the tour on 12th April - this was our first trip to Sydney and I had booked this tour in advance on the basis of the great reviews and a very reasonable price.- it certainly lived up to expectations.. We were picked up just 5 minutes walk from our hotel after receiving clear instructions from the tour company - Activity Tours Australia- the previous day which was spot on time and we were greeted by our tour guide Ben. We headed first for the Featherdale Wildlife Park where we spent an hour but truly we could have spent the entire day there - absolutely fabulous place - sad to leave but managed to be photographed with a Koala and hand feed wallabies - a truly magical experience.
We then headed into the Blue Mountains - we were so fortunate as the weather was exceptional and as such blessed by stunning views throughout the day.
Ben was quite simply an exceptional tour guide - so knowledgeable, so friendly, so helpful but also so passionate about the area, the history and the aborigine people -he went the extra mile taking us to multiple viewing sites which I am sure were above and beyond in terms of time - we loved every minute- we learned so much and had an absolutely fabulous day which we will always remember - thank you Ben for being so amazing.

We met early at 710am and it was good to beat the traffic and Ben kept us a running commentary about the neighborhoods as we went by. The first stop was at Featherdale wildlife park where you can see all of the animals of Australia up close. We had already been to the Toranga Zoo and this lets you get closer and it has more animals that the Brisbane Koala sanctuary. The drive to Wentworth falls was pretty but also routine. The one hour hike was the highlight and took us to overlooks, photo ops and the fall itself. I wore running shoes and would again but others wore flip flops or city shoes. Lunch for an hour was in the cute hamlet of Leura, home to a dozen cafes and eateries and local shops. Back on the road to several walkable overlooks of the Three Sisters and Jamison Valley and an extra stop to take pics of cockatoos. They had some short walks to them but not more than a few hundred yards. The drive back to Sydney was uneventful. Logistics were easy. The pick up was on time, the PA system in the van worked well, as did the temperatures. We had a dozen of us from four states, a couple from Scotland and sisters from Poland. It was congenial. We got back smack at five. It is a painless way to get to the Blue Mountains without a car.
