• The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour, you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 15 minutes prior to your tour departure time.
• If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, the tickets and guide are void. As per Vatican rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
• Knees & Shoulders MUST be covered for both men & women to enter the Sistine Chapel!
• St Peter’s Basilica is subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies, with little to no warning and in this case, the tour will conclude in the Sistine Chapel. When this occurs visitors will have an extended tour of the Vatican Museums.
• Should St. Peter’s Basilica be closed or not accessible within the scheduled time, the tour will include Raphael's Rooms or the explanation of the Basilica from the outside. in this case we are unable to provide refunds or discounts as the Basilica is free to enter and not included in the tour price.
• The Raphael's Rooms are not included in the tour and are visited only when St. Peter’s Basilica remains closed to the public or if the Vatican makes the internal itinerary mandatory.
• Please note that on the day of your visit certain areas of the monument/attraction can be closed due to either religious events or national holidays.
• Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not suitable for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair. Please be aware that large oversized bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction.
• It is not possible to contact guides when they are inside the Vatican museums, it is the clients responsibility to stay with the guided tour group, if you lose your guide inside the museums, there is nothing we can do in this case.
• Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not suitable for those with walking difficulties or using a wheelchair.

Christina was by far the most knowledgeable, entertaining, and engaging guide we have ever met. Her in-depth knowledge of the artworks, history, and layout of the Vatican museums was unbelievable. We learned so much during our tour and her ability to use personal anecdotes, individualized support photos, and an exceptional personable style makes her the best we have ever experienced in 25+-years of traveling. If you are interested in an academic experience presented in a comfortable and engaging style, Christina is the only choice.

María has been an excellent guide, in addition to the convenience of avoiding the usual queue to access the venue. The explanations are given in a concise and simple way, making the visit very enjoyable. I completely recommend for anyone interested in visiting the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel.

We have just returned from a wonderful long weekend in Rome. We did the skip the line tour with Maya Tours and our guide was the lovely, American Kristina. She was passionate and knowledgeable and did her best to make sure we all understood, stayed together and had the best experience. She picked out the best pieces to talk through and took the time to find us some space which wasn’t easy at times at the Vatican Museums are very busy. I particularly enjoyed seeing all the art and hearing about the history. The Sistine Chapel was spectacular and St Peter’s Basilica was an absolute wonder. The guided tour finished at the doors to the Basilica so ends self guided which was ideal for us. Gave us time to enjoy at our own pace. Skip the line was definitely worth it - probably a 3hour line for walk ins to the museums and hour and half for Sistine chapel and who knows how long for St Peter’s Basilica. Pay for skip the line and go and see more things that Rome has to offer!!
