The brand of a strong industrial center was for us a reason to postpone a touristic visit to Torino. We were wrong: Torino is more than FIAT and Juventus. We discovered a historical chapter not only of Italy but of the whole region of Piemont and Provence. And if we add the splendid stay we had in the Principi di Piemonte hotel (we hope Djokovic will stay in the same room we got!) assisted by its very professional staff we think that anyone having experienced a visit like ours will do it again. At least, we we'll do for sure and lunch again in the Eataly restaurant in via Lagrange, enjoying the friendly and professionnal service of Mattia, a talented and ambitious guy from Puglia region. We wish him good luck to realise his plans for the future!

Patrizia was our guide for the Royal Palace tour and Shroud Chapel. We found her to be amazing. Not only was she able to rearrange her schedule to accommodate our new start time, but she was very knowledgeable and well informed about the Royal Palace and its history. The tour was excellent! Wow!! Truly an unbelievable palace! Enjoyed learning more about the Savoy royals from Marco . The chapel of the Shroud touches your soul .

The tour was personal and informative. The guide, Carlo, had very good historical knowledge and spoke excellent English. He let us go through at our own pace and you could tell he loved what he did.

You can visit the gardens without paying. To visit the inside of the palace you are required to buy a ticket.
The palace is very opulent and indulgent and beautifully decorated and so much to take in. My husband found the armoury room very interesting.
