Although I was initially a little disappointed that the catacombs were not included otherwise, it was a fantastic tour. The tour guide was very informative and tons of lovely things to say definitely a must do.!

Excellent tour that is as grandiose as it is appropriately long. This was a very dense, but thorough tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. I was very impressed and glad we joined this trip while In Rome. something out tour guide said, resonated with me. He said "When you tour the Colosseum, you are touring ruins. When you are touring the Vatican, you are touring something that has been pristinely preserved!". So true. So eloquent.
The only reason that I didn't give this five stars was that it was VERY crowded and we felt rushed in many of the rooms, even passing through some of them. For me, this was much of a bother because I do believe this was so we could have some time to appreciate the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's (which you can take as much time as you want). I just thought it would be important to make note of that for those who wish to take more time in the other attractions of this beautiful tour.

This review is not about the Vatican Museum, it was awesome! This review was a skip the line, but there was no line to skip! The ticket price for our tickets was 17 Euros a person and we paid $59 CAD each for the privilege of skipping a line that didn't exist! If it was July I would understand, but November? I feel that we were mislead to think that this was more than just an entry ticket, but included a tour. We could have saved a significant amount of money by buying our tickets directly at the Museum.

It was rushed. It was like just walking and that's it. Walking right past all things to take pics of. I'm only kinda exaggerating. And I feel like we missed more than enough photo opportunities because we were just rushing through everything. Having a guide did allow us to get in the basilica without waiting in line. But I think the tour says it does that anyways so long as it's before 230. So I don't know how long the line was for that at that time tbh. After I was done with everything, an hour or two later, the line was insane. But again, I didn't notice it that long before though. But it's possible I just didn't know to look since we were at the front. On a more personal level, we got in the chapel and I was looking around and admiring everything, as one does in the Sistine chapel, and I was asked if I'm looking for something else. Like just me. Of all the other people. I thought that was weird but whatever. Then while still in it, I took a step away from the group just to keep looking. And seriously. It was a step or two. Our guide says no come here, then goes on this speech about how I can leave if I want to explore other stuff. Like what? Even others in the tour thought it was weird how she was talking to me specifically like I was the only one looking around. It was bizarre. And annoying. So for me, yeah, this wasn't worth it.

Just wow! Extremely well worth it. Guide was simply amazing. Information was well delivered, the set up for what we were going to see, and then seeing it, was fantastic. Don’t think about, book this tour! Thank you again!

Unable to find meeting place for tour so missed it. Meeting place is outside the Vatican walls half way away from the entrance. Need to tell people more specific directions not just address. Hard to find street names and numbers in Rome.

Big scam! Do not book this. They said English tour but the tour may have as well been in Russian. The guide was not Italian but Russian with the thickest Russian accent I have ever heard. Had to strain to understand him but still couldn’t . When he said keys I heard kiss. It was that bad! Finally I gave up and just did my own thing. Such a waste of my 80 euro, I really trusted Viator. But this was a huge let down!
And oh, they said small group but it was 15 people
