Discover the most visited museums in Florence and two of the most visited in the world, admiring the most important works to appreciate the art of the Italian Renaissance. The Uffizi Gallery with its collections of works of art, masterpieces by artists and protagonists of the Renaissance such as Michelangelo, Giotto, Botticelli, Caravaggio, Leonardo da Vinci and many others.
And the Galleria dell'Accademia, the second most visited museum in Florence to discover Michelangelo's David, one of the most famous Florentine symbols. The Gallery is one of the places with the highest number of sculptures by Michelangelo, besides you can admire the museum of musical instruments, the largest collection of paintings with a gold background and the Sala dei Prigioni with sculptures designed for Pope Julius II. You will enter from the priority entrance to the museum and enjoy a journey into the life of the genius of Michelangelo.

The museum is lovely and a must see. It takes one's breath away to see the works if masters up close. This is my second visit and it's well worth it.

One of the nicest galleries we have visited but the place was quite busy and there were queues into most rooms so recommend visiting during the week and going early morning.
Fantastic collection of artwork and sculptures. We really enjoyed our visit adn cant wait to go back again soon.

Maybe the time to visit both Galleries is too tight. Just 2 hours for visit the Uffizzi is a bad deal, personally. However, the way to get the tickets and access is really easy.

Very friendly staff, Marco had tickets for our group, walked us over to the Uffuzi, across the street from their office, and got us in line for preferred admittance. We had plenty of time to be back at their office to pick up Accademia tickets. We were given our tickets and instructions on what entrance line to wait. Tickets have a specific entrance time so hustle on over. Once you're there, it's pretty easy to figure out where the "red door" entrance is.

I wish we had 3 hours in the Uffizi, because you have to walk across town to see the Accademia. Both museums worth the trip

The Skip-the-line is somewhat misleading. For the first part (Uffizi) it went ok. The staff walked us over to the entrance and we walked in. However, for the Academia part the line was quite long and we had to wait in line quite a while. Of course, between waiting in a shorter line and waiting in a longer line, I choose the shorter one. Just be aware that you will be waiting in line to get in.

I think the description of the meaning of priority needs to be explained. Based on other tours, I was afraid I would miss seeing certain works, so I went on my own. I really wanted to get the tickets for David earlier but it was explained on site. The staff was very kind & helpful.

No ventilation. Very crowded. With the crowds, very stuffy for a warm day. LOTS of statues. After a while they all look alike. Same with the paintings.
