Loved the night , and our server was fantastic he was called uber
As soon as our glass was empty he was there filling it straight back up couldnt do enough for us

Having read the reviews we were not sure what to expect. We are pretty chilled but the main aim of the night is to cram as many people into a room to maximise profits. The shows are ok but have huge gaps which women are then encouraged to join the dance stage to fill the gap. The best tip would be arrive early to get a good spot and ensure you tip, you get better service. We were unlucky on the night and got stuck with loads of people that just wanted to get on camera. A gold ticket means that you get an allocated space and seat but as we were not as quite crowded as other areas it just meant that people were constantly trying to sneak on just to get kicked back out.

What a freaking ripoff and waste of time! Started off with horrible transportation. Tickets included to and from transportation from our hotel...what a joke! The driver dropped us off 2.5 blocks away from the venue and we had no idea where we were going. Open bar with premium liquor brands? NOT!!! We saw a waiter a total of 3 times over the course of 5 hours and none of the drinks they brought us had any liquor!!

The "show" was BEYOND BAD!!!!! There was more club music and videos than performances...,we didn't pay to see the guests dance. The night was a total waste of time and money that I'll never get back.

Take my advice...DONT GO!!!

Awful, absolute rip off. Been a few times to the one in Cancun but decided to try here with kids for the Halloween party. Safe to say would never go back and would tell friends not to bother. Unless you have hundreds of dollars to throw at the waiters, you won’t get served, even though all inclusive.. we paid extra to get a table and then was told we had to pay another 100 dollars for a table?! They then said it’s 40 dollars?! Wtf! Money money money that’s all they’re interested in.. crammed in like sardines.. show was awful too just girls ad lib songs.. biggest waste of money ever….

An ecstatic electrifying experience. Get VIP ticket. Get a stool to sit and drinks flowing. Superb atmosphere and performances.

Was a great experience, our waiter was very good and returned many time to replenish drinks. The seating was a little cramped. The show was pretty spectacular at times and the evening passed very quickly. The drop off and pickup service was very efficient. Definitely recommend.

I booked myself and five friends onto the Gold Package at Coco Bongos Playa Del Carmen, spending over $1000 to celebrate my birthday.

After our transportation arrived 20 minutes late, we arrived at Coco Bongos and were escorted to our seats that were on the top level of the club, situated next to the stage behind big metal bars and lighting equipment which would have severely restricted our view. After complaining we were moved to further along the row and we were expecting to have a better view. When the show started, we could not see a single thing, even the aerial artists because the view was so bad. On top of this we were crammed into the space with lots of people who were on a lower priced package than us - this made all 6 of us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Needless to say after spending over $1000 dollars to come to Coco Bongos we were devastated that we weren’t going to be able to enjoy our time.

There was 6 empty seats on the same floor, but in a different location. I noticed this and kindly asked a staff member if we could be moved to be told no and we had to stay where we were. For the first 1.5hrs of the show we were unable to see a thing, and debated on cutting our losses and leaving the club.

I got extremely upset as myself and my partner have been customers of yours before and have been getting our friends super excited to come; in addition I also planned to spend my birthday knowing what an amazing night Coco Bongos could be. Due to me being upset, I went to ask again if we could move to the still empty seats and one of your lovely staff allowed us to move. As I said though, this was over half way into the show so we missed a great deal.

In the end we had a good night, but I am extremely upset that we missed the first part of the show after paying so much money and being located in an awful location for view. We also didn’t get any snacks which were stated as included in the Gold Package.

I did not get the name of the staff member who orchestrated the move but without him we would have had an awful night and would have left.

It used to be like cirque du soleil with a bit of a night club atmosphere in between shows, the service used to be second to none. Now it's more like an 18/30s nightclub with a slight bit of acrobatics, the drink service was poor and where it used to be bottles of Corona it's now Sol where it used to be proper Malibu it's now a local copy instead. We paid for the royal package so went in first and had good seats but it was downhill from there!! The bar waiter was more interested in serving the young women than us and we had to have a go at them and said we would ask for money back if the service didn't improve before they took notice. I asked one of the waiters in there if there was another toilet as it was so rammed you couldn't get through and all I got was a shrug of the shoulders! We left at 1am as we were bored as it wasn't what we expected. Never again ?

This was a boring and incredibly lame experience!! The best I can compare it to is a Mexican TV game show. I cannot understand all the hype which is why we decided to go. We purchased the gold pass expecting better seating and viewing. We were shoulder to shoulder and the view was mediocre. The start was 20 minutes of dancers just free-style dancing. Then, we would wait 10-15 minutes for every show to start and those shows lasted about a minute or so. The 10-15 minutes intermission was filled with guests getting on stage and dancing. Some of the shows consisted of lip-syncing while the actual singer was being played on a big screen, the choreography was at the high school level, and the food was cheap, bland, and not even worth the effort to eat. We left after several hours from boredom. This show is catered for high schoolers.

Great club! Lots of fun, so many great performances, nice light shows good environment to party with friends! Would recommend for anyone wanting to try the night life outside or the resort also very safe
