Our tour guide Viola was excellent!!
She was very knowledgeable, insightful and answered all of our questions. The climb up to the dome was well worth it and breathtaking.
I would highly recommend this particular tour with Viator!

Woah! What a great experience. Our guide was so sweet and fun. Got a great tour of the museum and then climbed up to the top of the Duomo. It really want bad, got a little cramped at points when the line wasn’t moving but otherwise the fees were astonishing. We went at 1600 and honestly was a great decision. Less crowds and able to navigate the top of the dome without herding through people.

The history behind the building of the dome was very interesting. The climb to the top was a challenge but the views were stunning. Guido was a very knowledgeable guide and really did a good job of going into detail on key pieces in the museum as well as the building of the Duomo itself. He also recommended a good little Italian restaurant.

This was a great tour with a great tour guide. Everything went smoothly. We toured the museum and climbed the dome. The climb was a little challenging but if you have climbed others around the world this is very similar. I recommend this tour.

I would recommend this tour to everyone in order to maximize your Duomo experience. Our tour company was excellent to communicate with and made the logistics seamless. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and excited to help us fully appreciate the beauty and marvelous Duomo. I would recommend the optional climb to the top to everyone in order to see the painting masterpiece of the dome and the breathtaking views of Florence from the balcony at the top. You will not be disappointed.

The views from the dome, both inside and outside were incredible! The guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. This tour was well worth the money and the effort to climb the stairs. The views were spectacular!

Amazing. So glad I made it to the top. The guide was great. The view sensational. Not for the feint hearted.. inside the dome is a little scary if you don’t like heights. I’m not too bad but found the inside scarier than the top.
