2. Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
located 6km to the north of the ruins of Ephesus, a church was built from the 6C AD to the top of the foundations of a house from 1C AD and it is declared by the church to be the final house where Mary spent her last days.
3. The Temple of Artemis
was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Its ancient cult dedicated to Artemis was very famous in antiquity and made Ephesus a much-visited pilgrimage place. There were a total of 127 ionic columns with a height of 19m. The temple is also considered to be the earliest bank of the ancient world.
4. The Basilica of Saint John
3 km away from the ruins of Ephesus a small church was built dedicated to John in 2C AD, Later in 6C AD it was replaced by a huge basilica built by the Emperor Justinian, The impressive ruins are still standing today.
5. Ancient City of Ephesus

We had an amazing time in Ephesus with our tour guide, Barboros Haltl. He is knowledgeable guide who explained very well and showed us around especially some tips where should be nice spots to take some photos. We really enjoy our time with him in Ephesus 👍.

This tour was amazing. The pick up was on time, the locations we visited were worth it, especially if you like history and architecture. Our tour guide, Riza was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, kind, and approachable. He knows his stuff. You’ll learn alot from his touring. He’s one of the best guides I’ve encountered. I had another flight after, but had left a bag from a tour day before. They brought that to me, on the way to the airport. The care they provided was superb. I almost missed the House of Virgin Mary due to my flight schedule, but they accommodated my request, and made sure I’d be able to see it too before leaving. That enough, was very much appreciated. It made my day for sure. I would definitely recommend this to people.

Our guide and driver were excellent. Very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Jump the line tickets made it very easy to see the sites. He even catered to an extra need we wanted to experience.

Ezra was a very good guide. She was knowledgeable about the places the tour went (Temple of Artemis, ruins of Ephesus, and the house of the Virgin Mary). Ezra was also knowledgeable about local landmarks seen from the van transporting between the sites and Kuşadasi. Morning coffee and a buffet style Turkish lunch were included in the tour.

We traveled with Esra. This charming young woman saved our day. The German travel agency where we booked our excursion at the end of April did not pass our booking on to the local agency in Kusadasi (Altinkum Travel). We stood around in the harbor for a while early in the morning and no one was waiting for us, as described in the booking documents, until two agents spoke to us and sent us to Esra's group, who were actually looking after a group on a different excursion. She took care of everything, called the agency and sorted things out for us, and at the end of the Ephesus tour she organized extra transport to the harbor/cruise ship for us. She has an excellent knowledge of history, provided images to illustrate the tour, and speaks excellent English that non-native speakers can understand. She is considerate of the guests, points out bathrooms, and got suitable audio guides for the museum. Languages, without us even asking. In the end we were allowed to go on a tour that lasted an hour longer and the unpleasant feeling we had in the morning, when we thought that the excursion was not going to happen, was completely gone. Thank you.

This tour was great! We saw all of the major highlights that are part of this tour (Ephesus, Temple of Artemis, the House of Virgin Mary) and even squeezed in a mini tour of a leather and fur shop where we learned about the leather industry in Turkey. Our tour guide, Zeynep, is kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She shared lots of information and history without making it overwhelming. Our group loved spending the day with Zeynep and learning all about Kusadasi from her!
