Arianna was a great guide - very personable, engaging with the kids, and knowledgeable. Skip-the-line access was a HUGE benefit for the Basilica since the line when we entered was very long.

We were at the mentioned meet up point on time but it seems like the tour started (and usually does) from a different location, which we realized when we we called the tour company to enquire. The tour company basically said “tough luck, you missed the tour” and didn’t attempt to offer any solutions or alternatives. We then bought the tickets at the Doge palace and did a tour ourselves. Disappointed.

I booked our tour through Trip Advisor for the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice. Our tour guide Rita Tostello was fantastic and knowledgeable with an excellent sense of humor. Rita kept the group engaged and answered all questions. I would recommend this tour if you are in Venice. I hope you are lucky enough to have Rita as your guide.

From the moment we met our Tour Guide, Alessandro we were rovided with details of every historical fact. He was obviously passionate and extremely knowledgeable about these two hugely important Venetian buildings. One of the best tours I've ever done.
