The tour guide, a lady called Camila (if I remember well), was going too fast. My family spent more time trying to not get lost than really listening what she had to say. The tour did not meet our expectations at all. We had planned this trip for months and we are really disappointed. We still have a few more days in Rome and we are considering taking another Colosseum tour with another company.

Overall, it was a great tour—informative and interesting. Keep in mind that you cannot always stop or take pictures wherever you want to, which is typical for group tours. If you are touring on a cold winter day, make sure to wear warm clothes. I recommend bringing your own headsets to the tour to reduce the use of disposable ones.

What an experience! It was our first time visiting and I recommend a tour guide to get information on its history.
Our guide Eva was very detailed in explaining various facts. We visited between Christmas and New Years and it was busy!

Our guide, Diana, did an excellent job to "link the pieces together". She explained the stories behind important structures with pictures, making them a lot more vivid to us than if we were on their own. With such long queues, having a skip-the-line tour is definitely worth it.
