2. Ancient City of Ephesus
Ephesus: The ancient city of Ephesus is home to many well-preserved ruins, including the Roman-era streets, public buildings, and private houses. Visitors can explore the city and imagine what life was like in the Roman Empire. Some of the highlights of Ephesus include the Library of Celsus, the Great Theater, the Temple of Artemis, and the Terrace Houses. Ephesus’s most spectacular site has to be the façade of the Library of Celsus. Constructed between 110 and 135AD, the library originally had three floors, but an earthquake destroyed the building in the 10th century. Other sites include the Theater, Basilica of St. John, the Cave of the Seven Sleepers, Church of Mary, House of the Virgin, the Isabey Mosque, the Prytaneion, the synagogue and the Temple of Hadrian. All the sites are in varying states of disrepair. Unfortunately, all that remains of the Temple of Artemis, rumoured to have been four times as large as the Parthenon, is one column standing in a marshy basin.
3. The Temple of Artemis
The Temple of Artemis: Ephesus was home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis. Although the temple no longer exists, the foundation and some columns remain, providing an idea of the scale and grandeur of the original temple.
4. Kusadasi Castle
Built and extended between the 14th and 18th centuries, picturesque Kusadasi Castle sits on Pigeon Island (Guvercin Adasa), an islet connected to Kusadasi via a causeway. Originally constructed as a military base, the fortress is composed of outer walls that enclose its gardens and an inner castle with a tiny museum.
5. Kusadasi Bazaar
The centuries roll back when you step inside Kuşadası Caravanserai (Öküz Mehmed Pasha Caravanserai), rich with Ottoman and Seljuk architectural details. With its Venetian-style swallow-tail battlements and red stone walls, the Ottoman castle dates back to 1618 and the days of Vizier Öküz Mehmed Pasha (also written Okus Mehmet Pasa or Okuz Mehmed Pasha). In the Ottoman era, the castle acted as a trading house and meeting place for merchants, and was fortified to protect the valuable goods stored there. Entering the Caravanserai, you walk through a marble arched gateway into a double-story courtyard filled with lush palm trees, Turkish rugs (for sale), marble pools and fountains.
6. Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
The House of Virgin Mary: is a Christian pilgrimage site in Turkey, it is believed to be the last home of the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus Christ, who is said to have lived there until her Assumption. It is considered one of the most holy places in the world by Catholics.

We have been to kusadasi and Ephesus from cruise. With my family. Our guide was Ali and driver is Ahmet .our guide explained ephesus and Virgin Mary. With very good English thanks to guide Ali.

We had a great experience. NINA met us by the port on time and was a great guide throughout the excursion! Not to mention a photographer as well! We had a lovely Turkey lunch of chicken, dips, and many other tasty treats afterwards.!! Of all the places we stopped during our cruise, Turkey was an unexpected surprise and my favorite!

Kostas, our guide was phenomenal!! Very knowledgeable and great personality. He was also a great photographer. Our driver was great and funny. Both were very educational. We went to a local spot for lunch that was amazing. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic Team fully managed by company and the guide of our trip is Alu Can (jan) in Urdu we from Pakistan enjoyed our trip alot our has a pool of knowledge and good this of his he tells us every thing before time we ask questions but he never mind because he has a full command and full knowledge he guided us every thing In detail and he always forces us to manage time to take full advantage of our itinerary
But you know in group it is very difficult to get ready on time there fore our trip driver Hakan takes responsibility to take us to our destination right on time.
Finally we have fully enjoyed our 8 days trip from Pakistan with 11 persons managed my MOIRA Travels.
We Highly recommend this Travel agency and our good luck is that we get Good guide and driver (Ali can and Hakan)
