Italio was wonderful as a guide. He new so much about the history of Pompei and made sure he answered all our questions. So worth taking the private tour because you move though the lines quickly and Italio new how to maneuver through the ruins to make sure we saw all the good part and understood all the history.
Thanks so much
Sean and family.

Very good extremely surprised as you are allowed to actually walk on the tiled floors that 2,000 years ago were walked by the owners of the villas, the guide gave a fantastic commentary a very small site compared with pompeii but in my opinion all the better for that.

We went to Pompeii and Herculaneum with our driver Ensel and guide Roberta. They were both wonderful and very informative. I'd definitely recommend the private tour. Pompeii is a crowded place and having a private guide who knows the site well is great. We speak English and Roberta and Ensel both did as well and that was helpful for us.
They were both friendly and knowledgeable. I also really recommend Herculaneum in addition. Very different experience and you get to walk into the rooms.
