This day was amazing. I have start out with our amazing guide, Carla. She was so knowledgeable and kind, she made it an amazing day. Carla showed up early to our hotel, and communicated with us by Whatsapp to confirm the day before. She even provided a child seat for my son. On the way to Sintra we stopped and saw the outside of a palace. The way to Sintra was great, she educated us on the stops we would be making. The first palace we toured was Regalia, it was so picturesque and unique! We went on to Pena palace, a colorful and scenic palace high up in the hills of Sintra. Carla came with us and took the most amazing photos for us, she knew exactly where to get the best shots. She was patient with my 2 kids, and even had souvenir postcards for them at the end of the trip. When we mentioned our plans to go to Porto the next day she sent a list of places to check out. I highly recommend both this tour and the guide, Carla. An excellent and fulfilling experience all around.

We had a great time checking out Sintra and it's palaces. Our driver was particularly knowledgeable and shared with us a wonderful amount of detail. He was very accommodating and the tour was perfect.

Our guide Angela was wonderful, knowledgeable about her city of Lisbon, and Portugal.
She promptly picked us up from our Cruise ship port. And took us for a tour of her city of Lisbon. Stopping if we wished to take photos.
She Referred us to her favorite pastry shop which is oldest operating named "Pasteis de Belem". We had the national pastry. "Pasteis de nata" which were soooo delicious. I had bought another kind which was equally delicious.
After driving by some more of Lisbons monuments and places of interest we were off to Sintra.
Angela explained everything about Pena Palace and how the wealthy gravitated to area to be closer to Royal Family. And the history of area.
She dropped us off and let us explore village. And promptly picked us up at the meeting point.
We then went to Pena Palace where she made sure we got to the entrance properly. We explored this beautiful Palace and grounds. What a wonderful time it was.
She met us at exit and we're off to our next planned trip to Quinta da Regaleira where she made sure our entry went through. It a 16th century property, with so many interesting things like the initiation well. Beautiful grounds. Buildings. Just wonderful.
After our time exploring at our own pace we met our Angel at the exit
She took us back towards Lisbon . We mentioned we tried the national Liquer Ginja in Sintra (her recommendation) and asked if we could go back to pastry shop "Pasteis. de Belem" since they had some and of course get some more pastries. No problem. We stocked up on both and bought some pasteries for her family as well. We got to know Angela ,her family and Beautiful country. Thank you for a wonderful time ! We were in great hands with our Angel. Cant wait to come back and have Angela show us more of Lisbon and surrounding area.

Our tour guide Jose was fantastic. Although the weather could have been more cooperating (cool and drizzling rain for most of the time), he made the experience interesting and memorable. He treated us with cinnamon pastries at a famous local cafe in Sintra prior to giving us a private tour the National Palace. We enjoyed having some time to also walk the streets in Sintra and do some shopping. Jose also gave us a private tour of the National Palace of Pena, showing us some unique features and providing a lot of the history of the area. He later went out of the way to take us to the cliffs at Cabo da Roca at the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean, the most western point in Europe, where we also got some nice photo shots. He then gave us a scenic tour south and east along the coastline and showed us some sights in the beach and tourist town of Cascais. Overall, it was a great experience and the highlight of our time in Lisbon before we left on our cruise. We recommend Jose highly as a guide.

This was a great tour and Ricardo was an excellent guide. The stop in the costal town allowed us to do a little walking around and see the village, have a coffee and pastry and watch a parade. Sintra it's self was amazing. What a colorful place with great views as well.

An outstanding private tour with Miguel, one of the best guides we’ve ever had. We felt that we made a new friend by the end of the day. We visited Cabo de Roca, Pena Palace, had a great lunch on the shoreline in Cascais, and did some beautiful driving. I would highly recommend this tour, but would ask for Miguel.

Angela took such good care of us on our tour of Sintra. She was full of great historical information, she allowed us our own time to explore as well as guided us through the crowds of Pena Palace with ease. We were extremely happy to have taken this tour with Angela. Abregado!

If you’re in Lisboa and want something to do I highly suggest this tour. We gad the most wonderful time visiting the palaces in Sintra. Our Guide was Raphael and he was excellent. His knowledge of these sites was vast and most of all his ability to communicate this knowledge. Pena Palace is by far the most beautiful place to visit. We are extremely glad to have done this.
