You’ll set off on a jaunt around Chinatown where you’ll find some of the best street food in Singapore. Aside from the Chinatown Food Complex, where you can taste Michelin starred street food, you’ll find such delights as poh piah (fresh spring roll) and chwee kueh (water rice cake). Maybe it’ll be the food which lulls you into a coma, or maybe it’s the swaying lanterns and billowing smoke screens, who can say. From here, you’ll walk to a traditional wet market where you can see live seafood and try to decipher all manner of ingredients.

Adam was great and adapted the tour for us along the way. We sampled Asian food in China town and then walked to another area and sampled a type of thin barbecue meat that is a tradition for the new year. Then we went the Muslim area and tried two dishes there. It was all excellent

Fairuz was our guide and he was really lovely. He certainly knew Singapore and took us to some great places.
We had some dietary requirements (no shell fish) and he struggled a bit to accommodate that which was a bit of a shame - we felt that he could have prepared better in that respect.
The reason we only gave 4 stars is because we did not feel that the tour was good value for money - food is very cheap in Singapore and I think that there were too many parties taking a cut from this booking - I think viator booked our guide through city unscripted - although we appreciate that we did a private tour for 2 and had we shared the tour with others that might have brought the costs down.
Overall, I think if you eat anything (!) this would be a great tour to do with a larger group than 2!

Claire was knowledgeable and a delight to spend time with. I was her only guest (as my group hadn’t arrived yet), so it was a little different in that I didn’t want to buy multiple plates of food to taste and waste any. But she showed me the sites and explained the different foods. I did end up buying numerous treats to share with others tomorrow.

Danny was fantastic!! He introduced us to many different types of Singaporean food such as Malay, Halal, Indian, and we even tried the famous putu piring!!! In addition to food tour and an overview lesson of Singapore, Danny also drove us to take some pictures of MBS and the surrounding areas. I highly recommend Danny!

Adam is personable and eager to show a visitor an array of typically Singapore foods. He did not watch the clock and cheerfully went over the allotted time in order to get another taste of two before returning to the hotel. He also imparts interesting information about Singapore’s rich history.

Our guild was Teng who was very friendly and knowledgeable.
We really enjoyed the experience apart from a few showers of rain.
All the food was very nice and locally sourced, places we would never of found thank you Teng.

Our Singapore Street Food Tour was amazing. I would give 10 stars if I could. I’ve taken several tours around the world, and this was the first time I’ve been provided a questionnaire to complete beforehand. Our tour was truly crafted for us. Wahida was a true professional. Our tour included the perfect mix of food, history, culture, street art and laughter. Wahida is warm, kind, welcoming and has an incredible quick wit. And did I mention professional? The large topography map towards the end of the tour put Singapore visually into perspective for us, and Wahida’s use of a laser pointer allowed her to show us the diversity of the city and areas we should try to visit. I highly recommend this tour. I know you will be just as thrilled as me.

Cheryl was amazing! So kind & patient as we navigated the MTS & the Hawkers Centers. She was so accommodating and treated us like royality. She really knew the food & culture of Singapore, she truly gave us the best experience.
