We have done a few food tours in the course of our travels but this one was among the best. Not only did we get to experience different foods but there was a lot of history and information about Chinatown. Corliss was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. A great way to spend the morning

We spent a wonderful morning with Corliss who shared both her food and historical knowledge of Singapore. She was a considerate guide and took time to explain everything. The food venues we visited were varied and delicious. The communication before the tour was excellent, making sure we were in the right place at the right time. This was truly a once in a lifetime event. Our guide, Yap, was amazing and went beyond our expectations. He truly brought the evolution of Singapore to life by not only explaining how people came to Singapore, worked and lived but took the time to explain how it is for people living in Singapore today. It went way beyond a food tasting trip and every dish was fantastic from cakes to coffee to the famous chicken and rice. As for the food, we went from new Michelin rated stalls to where Singaporians eat as well. We even went to a local coffee house to learn how coffee came to Singapore, how to order correctly and the extensiveness of the Singapore coffee culture. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone coming to Singapore and want to experience real Singapore and its vast food options.
