It was great to be away from tourist areas, visiting local eateries alongside the people who work and live in Puerto Vallarta. We tasted fabulous tacos as well as chilaquiles and burritos. Karla was superb as guide. Her friendliness towards our group was matched by her camaraderie with the staffs of the eateries, which was delightful. And, she explained so much about how the food was prepared, the ingredients, as well as the different proprietors who had operated in the neighborhood for decades. A wonderful tour!

This tour was outstanding. Karla takes you on a very enjoyable walking tour off the beaten path where we experienced exquisite MX tacos at several locations, where she added so many interesting historical facts of PV. She is an excellent guide, communicator and friendly soul! So many wonderful stories and info on these family taco places.

Best food tour I have taken. Karla our guide was super attentive and wanted to make sure that everyone was happy and taken care of and happy. We had 5 food stops as well as a stop for pastries, ice cream, and snack/nut samples. Karla knew everyone, not just the people in the restaurants but also people on the street. We went places that I normally would not have tried but will definitely go back to when I am in the area. She did a great job explaining the various food that we tried. We also walked through the new and old market watched tortillas being made. We also got many small samples along the way that were not part of the main food. Each meal was full size, not a sample and was paired with a flavored (guava, tamarin, hibiscus, etc.) water was an extra bonus.

My wife and I took the Signature Taco and Street Food Tour today, and it was a great experience. Our tour guide, Alberto, was very knowledgeable and gave us a history lesson on the different foods we ate. We had a great time and ate a lot of very good food. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta, especially if it's your first time. Take my advice and don't eat breakfast before you go.

This was a fun, but a filling tour. A LOT OF GOOD FOOD. With that in mind, you get to experience about 6 different local establishments in the Romantic Zone. Be aware, it is all walking, and often on uneven cobble stone streets . Our guide was great and very informative. The tour was described as 3.5 hours, but it can take up to 4.5 hours.

We had an amazing time with Ricky as our guide. The food was delicious and we experienced some places we would have never found on our own. We enjoyed the whole experience including information and history of the area. It was a memorable day and the highlight of our trip to Puerto Vallarta.
