Do you want to dive with sharks? One Ocean Diving is an extremely unique program and shark dive led by marine researchers trained by world renowned shark experts Ocean Ramsey & Juan Oliphant. We are the first company in the United States & Hawaii to offer freediving with sharks without a cage and we continue to maintain a perfect safety record.
Guests are taught what to do if a shark approaches them which is useful information they could use throughout the rest of their life. Guests are also taught about shark sensory systems and science and can participate in data collection. Shark Dives are recapped by the shark biologist who guides the dives (they are the first person in the water and the last person out and stay in the water with the guests the entire time), and conservation information is shared as well as opportunities to support and get involved. One Ocean Diving’s program is part of the One Ocean organization that does other conservation and research work around the world.

A bit of a disappointing experience. We arrived out to the diving location to murky/dirty water and so were driving around to find a clear spot to dive in for some time. Although we saw sharks from the boat whilst moving around they eventually stopped and advised it was likely we wouldn’t see any and asked if we wanted to get in anyway for a swim but that everyone would be refunded if we didn’t get to dive with sharks. Some opted to still get in and so we all did. After what felt like quite a short time in the water having not seen a single shark were asked to get out feeling obviously disappointed but understanding that the crew obviously cannot control the sharks or the clarity of the ocean. Then one of the crew stated that they were glad someone had got to see a shark to which we were baffled as we hadn’t seen anything which we both openly expressed in response but got no reply, just an awkward glance.
Overall I have to say that we left feeling a little cheated and very disappointed as we hadn’t seen any sharks whilst in the water and had also paid for the video footage of us which is completely useless after not seeing or swimming with any sharks. Feel it was a little unfair on those who didn’t see anything and maybe to at least have been offered the opportunity to attend another dive after seeing nothing and not basing it on one or two people seeing a single shark in murky water.

Great experience! Recommend bringing your own snorkle that doesn't allow back fill. Wad a little chilly, I wore a wet suit zip up and it was perfect

I don't like water - especially cold water. I left shore with fear and dread. I returned feeling totally exhilarated - and the water was warm! Probably the most impactful experience of my life, and I am 71. Matt and Drew, Pilot and Dive Master, are real pros and so knowledgeable!! Ask for them if you can. We saw 4 Humpbacks breach and then went overboard to start our dive. This is an experience everyone should have - just from what you will learn about sharks! Our dive was on April Fool's Day and worth every penny. Anyone passing on the opportunity to dive with One Ocean Diving will have made a foolish decision.

Such a great experience. The guides were great. Really knowledgeable and we felt very safe the entire time. The photo add on are definitely worth the cost and we had a lot of one-on-one time.

Such An Amazing Experience, it was recommended to me. I was nervous at first bit the team is really professional make you feel safe and secure, they answer and questions you have once you get in the water it's Amazing best Experience I had in Hawaii. Who can say they swam and snorkeling with sharks I can! Definitely will be back.

Took my 14 yr old daughter with me. I'm so glad we chose this instead of the caged one. We felt completely safe the entire time and saw 4 different types of sharks. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

We had a great time swimming with the sharks. The crew made us feel very safe before entering the water. My 16 year old daughter had no problem getting in the water , even after seeing several sharks swimming by the boat. Once we got in the water and put my head in the water it was so peaceful watching at least 12 or more sharks swimming in circles below us. I’m very glad we did this excursion. This was one of my sons bucket list items.

What an Amazing experience it was to free dive with sharks. I would do it again as the crew made you feel very comfortable and at ease. I had no fear diving in the water.

I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome this experience was. My friend booked this one and I wasn’t so sure I wanted to do it but I wasn’t going to send my 11 year old into the water by himself so I signed both of us up. Gina was our safety diver and she was made for that job. She got us excited and made us feel comfortable and safe while gently pushing us to do more so that we could get the full experience. The photographer (Brett I think) was amazing and was as excited as we were about the shots he got. If you are hesitant, just do it! You won’t regret it.

Amazing experience. There were many different sharks and we felt safe the entire time. The divers were knowledgeable and made sure we were able to identify all of the species we were looking at. I will do this dive every time I visit Oahu. We made memories of a lifetime. Highly recommend this experience.
