Sharjah City Tour from Dubai

Unfortunately the weather was atrocious, so activities listed as included weren’t open. A substitute was found but the conditions were very difficult, verging on dangerous, and in my opinion, should have been proactively cancelled by the operator instead of waiting to see if customers would cancel themselves (thereby losing their money paid). If schools and museum venues were cancelled for the day, surely the tour operator also has a duty of care to its staff and customers to avoid any risk.
The onboard refrigerator was stocked with bottled water but that wasn’t offered to passengers as it had been on a previous tour.
And finally, not for the first time, my preferred meeting point was listed as an option but I was later told it was outside the pick-up zone and so I incurred a taxi fee to travel to another location.
The driver and guide were helpful in difficult conditions but that isn’t enough for me to recommend this operator.

Sharajah is a beautiful city. The tour has been on point with many stops with enough time to enjoy each location. But most importantly it has been safe. I left my wallet on the tour bus on a morning tour and it was returned to me by Mehboob the tour guide the evening with all my belongings; credit cards, ID, and $160 in American money. The attention to detail and follow through is amazing and greatly appreciated.

Very enjoyable tour. We will definitely repeat this tour. The staff was very helpful and polite with us. I actually enjoyed this tour very much.

The tour was wonderful. We enjoyed our time on this trip. Most of the tour was in the Museum of Islamic Civilization and the local market. Thank you. We will repeat this tour again.

The trip to Sharjah brought back wonderful memories from days gone by. It gives you an insight of the real values, traditions and hospitality of this country. The Islamic history Museum is not just well presented, but also educational. The souks were charming and selling a wide variety of goods.
The audio system was clear and information were accurate and informative.
Thank you to our driver Ubaid who made this trip special and memorable.

Good history. Different from dubai which was interesting. Flip side of Dubai. Souks were disappointing. Glad we went.

Advertised as guided, but on our experience it was an informative recorded audio tour of the city (not guided) At each location the guide advised meeting time and was there to answer questions as required.
