Shared Shuttle Service from Naples Central Station to Sorrento

Our driver was 1 hour and 20 minutes late picking us up. First we received a text that he was going to be 30 minutes late, then another one for another 30 minutes and then a called saying 20 more minutes. Then we get 8 minutes from our hotel and he said we had to switch to another driver to take us to our hotel because he had to take the other 4 people in the van to their hotels. We waited and waited, then another driver came and we switched all our luggage to the other car and finally got to our hotel. Drivers were very nice, but too long of a delay.

Driver picked us up as indicated. A little difficult to be sure we were in the right place for pickup. Got to our hotel safely.

Awful & upsetting experience. Paid in advance for this shuttle that literally did not exist. Searched for over an hour for it, walking back & forth from airport terminal to bus lot 4 times with our bags. Finally found someone in the airport who claimed to work for them who was extremely rude & nasty & not helpful in any way. We ended up having to lug our suitcases & carry-ons on & off public buses. I have yet to be responded to in regards to a refund. We also had a return ride booked in advance. One day before departure they contacted us & told us they could not come at the scheduled time. We booked a 9am pickup. They told us they could not pick us up until 11am. This is to bring us to the airport!!!!!!! Horrific experience. And I believe TripAdvisor owns Viator now so shame on you as well that I still have no resolution to this. Last reply was 3 days ago asking for more info.

Great shuttle service ! The driver was early and communicated with us he could pick up my family group of 6 early! He was very helpful with our luggage and the van was very comfortable! Thank you! I recommend this shuttle service to any traveler.

The Seahorse Car Service company was the most rude, unprofessional and unapologetic company I have ever experienced. They sent us a very specific pickup time for 2:40PM in front of a Hotel right next to the train station which we arrived to at precisely 2:30PM to wait for our anticipated pickup. By 2:38 I give them a call to confirm our pickup just to be sure, but the person from the company claims "the driver was already there waiting and didn't see you guys so he left". We were there from 2:30 at the correct location and there was no driver in sight and we were checking thoroughly. Now remember, our quoted pickup time which I have in writing via email on a nice table they sent was 2:40, so this driver either never showed up or showed up at 2:15 and left without us.

I then proceed to argue with the gentleman on the phone that we were there the entire time and he attempts to gaslight me saying that we missed the pickup and it was our fault. His first offer was to send another pickup for us in 3 hours! He expected us to wait for another 3 hours at the Naples train station with all of our luggage because of their mistake! Of course, I argued with them and after 5 minutes I eventually convinced them to to send the shuttle back which they begrudgingly agreed to do. However, our adventure wasn't done yet. Due to their schedule and time efficiency of route, they told me to get picked up at another hotel that was a 5-10 minute walk away and said "be there for pickup in 5 minutes or we leave without you." So now, my girlfriend and I are running with all of our luggage and bags to another hotel for pickup which was nearly a 1/2 mile away. We make it, sweaty and upset and the driver sees us and rudely waves us over and rushes us to the car, again as if all of this was out fault. The driver clearly was upset with us and made it well known with his gesturing. Mind you, at this point not one person at the company has taken any ownership or fault in their mistake or even said a hint of an apology. We eventually arrive to Sorrento at the drop-off point which was right in front of the Seahorse Car Service office. After unpacking our bags from the shuttle and settling ourselves we head inside to the office to discuss with the woman about our experience hoping for at the very least an apology or acceptance of fault.

We received neither. The woman at the desk doubles down on their gas-lighting claiming that once again we missed the pickup window. I assure you on everything I own that we were there at 2:30 sharp at the precise location waiting for the 2:40 pickup time. Remember, I called at 2:38 and the company informed me that the driver had already left. So the woman continues to never offer any apology and keeps trying to deflect blame on us. After 5 minutes of arguing the situation, she becomes VERY rude and hostile towards us and is visibly angry and extremely unprofessional. We eventually realize that the company does not value their customers and will offer us nothing to amend the situation. Quite honestly, this was one of the worst interactions I've had with a SERVICE company, likely the worst.

I would highly recommend to not use the Seahorse Car Service company because they will not honor the schedule they provide you. Moreover, they will accept no fault in their mistakes and poor service. The overall experience was the worst thing we experienced in our entire 3 week tour of Italy.

Efficient and quick. Excellent communication from the company. Our train was early and we were able to be picked up early. Totally worth it.

Worst experience I’ve had with a driver who took us past our drop off hotel in Sorrento and went on to drop off others 70 klms further away in Praiaono Amalfi Cost and then proceeded doing a u-turn and drive back to Sorrento to drop us and another couple in Sorrento. When I questioned the driver he said it wasn’t up to him but the company. Nothing was spoken or told to us that a 1 hour transfer them took 3 hours.
I have placed a forma complaint with both the company and Viator
