Florence is not the only Renaissance city in Italy. You can still find some traces of that period in Milan as well!

Unveil the last masterpiece from Michelangelo right in Sforza Castle, located in the heart of Milan. A few steps away from Duomo, the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful piece of art is resting: Pietà Rondanini by Michelangelo.

He did this amazing sculpture when he was 89 years old, only a few days before his death.

But it is not all about Michelangelo! Have you ever heard about his friend Leonardo Da Vinci?

During the 1.5-hour guided experience with our monolingual guide you will hear many stories about him as well.

Finally, every secret of the Castle is going to take life: visit the courtyard and the interior of the Castle and learn about Milan’ powerful families.

I've been to Milan a few times but never got around to visiting Castello Sforzesco and checking out the Pieta, so decided on this tour last minute when my friend suggested it. And we are so glad that we booked it! Our guide, Laura (I think that was her name), was an excellent source of information and she planned the tour such that we would have max time at each sight and without having to wrestle with the crowds. Although it was not a lengthy tour, we learned much about the history of the city and it was fun to hear stories about Da Vinci and Michelangelo. Definitely recommend anyone visiting to take this tour, you won't regret it!

We visited the castle in Milan near the end of the day. It is really large with each corner having a different type of tower. Some of the building is still occupied with offices, and parts are abandoned. We did not go inside, but saw it all from the outside.

well worth the time and money spent. grounds are free, and the museums (yes more than 1) are inexpensive.

What better thing to do on a rainy day in Milan, but take a tour of Sforza Castle. We arrived a little early, and I saw our guide, and we were informed we were the only two that booked the tour that day, so we had our own little private tour. Our guide was so passionate about the history of the city, and of the arts, ( he’s pictured in one of the uploads) it was very refreshing. He was knowledgeable, and answered questions if we had any, we did not have enough time to see the rest of the museums on our own, but this just means we will have to return to Milan. I highly recommend this tour, and to see. Some of the last work of DaVinci, was amazing.

The guided tour was brilliant. Lucia is really friendly and delivers the tour with real insight. The tour was around 2 hours which flew by. The description of Pieta Rondanini completely changed they way we looked at the sculpture. Highly recommend.

Excellent tour, very knowledgeable tour guide, unfortunately didn't keep her name, but lots of interesting things to see and learn inside the castle. Wasn't too crowded so you could see clearly. Plenty of time to look around and extend your timr inside the castle if needed. Nice group size, not too big.

Fantastic tour and Lara our guide is a art historian who gave us an in depth class on the Pieta. We have taken many tours and this one was by far the best. We finished the tour and felt like we had been part of a university art history class.

Excellent very knowledgeable and friendly guide Laura
Great pace to the tour.
Liked that we saved the pieta until last, very moving piece of sculpture.
Had a little difficulty at first in meeting up with Laura but another guide put us in touch with one another
