Seven Isles of Fort Lauderdale Kayak Tour

The tour was well organized and the guide was very nice and interesting. We enjoyed a lot our experience of paddleboard tour in Fort Lauderdale. The tour was easy to do, except the very last part where there was a little bit more current under the bridge. We recommend this tour to explore the canals of Fort Lauderdale.

Very good tour guide, Colin and a nice guy. Extremely knowledgeable on area and great fun facts. Tour is nice and relaxing and not hard to do. Seen beautiful boats and housing communities along the water. Highly recommend it!

Highly recommend this 2 hour kayak trip around some of the canals of Fort Lauderdale. Colin was knowledgeable, funny and helpful.

We had the best time kayaking with our guide Colin. I liked the area of the canals as not much big boat traffic to contend with. It’s an easy kayaking trip where we took our time with some areas while listening to our guide vast knowledge of the area. Other times we paddled along and enjoyed the view. He took pictures and texted them to us afterwards so that was fun to get also. I felt very safe having a guide that knew the area with us. Great way to explore the canals.

Honestly this review is long overdue. I think we took this kayak tour in 2021 but trip advisor doesn’t give an option to go back that far. Anyways…. This tour was AMAZING. It was just me, my fiancé, and Howie! Very relaxing and laid back! Great arm workout! The water was beautiful and it was a sunny day! We saw a porpoise, a lot of ducks, and I think a manatee. To be honest, it was so long ago and I don’t really remember much which means nothing bad happened so that’s a plus! But I do remember Howie! He was great and brought the trip to life. TO THIS DAY, WHEN TAKING PICTURES, WE STILL SAY “1 2 3 HOWIE!”

A True Five
Colin our guide knew his history of where we went which added to the tour
Before we ( only 3) set off he made sure we were comfortable and settled in our kayak and showed us splendid sights all by the way
We saw a Blue Heron foliage and beautiful homes and of course yacht s we only dream of owning
We went under several bridges and we learned how to keep our kayaks safe from the big boats
We will do it again
We even have pictures to savor from the trip

My cousin and I had a great experience on the 2 hour kayak tour this morning with Colin. Colin is really knowledgeable about the area and its history. It was great to see such a different view of these neighborhoods on the waterway then what I’ve typically seen driving to Las Olas. Much more charming homes that people actually seemed to live in and enjoy than the ridiculous empty McMansions I was otherwise familiar with. Some wildlife seen , learned about the vegetation and ecosystem of the intercoastal. I’m an ok kayaker but Colin had some tips to help me navigate this particular water that made all the difference. I wouldn’t recommend this experience for someone who’s never kayaked before but you don’t need to be super experienced either. You’ll be in good hands.
