1. Roman Forum
It is a rectangular forum surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome. Citizens of the ancient city referred to this space, originally a marketplace, as the Forum Magnum, or simply the Forum.
2. Tempio di Romolo
It is another rare example of a well-preserved Roman monument. It's intact because it was turned into the entrance to the Church of Saints Cosma and Damiano, still functioning today
3. Casa delle Vestali
It was the residence of Vestal Virgins, located behind the circular Temple of Vesta at the eastern edge of the Roman Forum, between the Regia and the Palatine Hill. The domus publica, where the Pontifex Maximus dwelled, was located near the Atrium until that role was assumed by the emperors.
4. Tempio di Saturno
Its ruins stand at the foot of the Capitoline Hill at the western end of the Roman Forum. The original dedication of the temple is traditionally dated to 497 BC, but ancient writers disagreed greatly about the history of this site.
5. Basilica of Maxentius
It is an ancient building in the Roman Forum. It was the largest building in the Forum, and the last Roman basilica built in the city.
6. Basilica Julia
It was a structure that once stood in the Roman Forum. It was a large, ornate, public building used for meetings and other official business during the Roman Empire.
7. Palatine Hill
It is one of the most ancient parts of the city and has been called "the first nucleus of the Roman Empire." The site is now mainly a large open-air museum while the Palatine Museum houses many finds from the excavations here and from other ancient Italian sites.
8. Piazza del Colosseo
It is a square in the center of Rome between Via dei Fori Imperiali and Via Claudia. It is located on the border of rione Monti, Campitelli and Celio districts. The square can be reached from the Colosseo Metro Station on the B line of the Rome Metro.
9. Arch of Constantine
Built in 315AD and noted by its triple arches, this structure commemorates Constantine's victory over Maxentuis.
10. Colosseum
Perhaps the best-preserved of the monuments of ancient Rome, this huge marble structure was built to hold more than 50,000 spectators to witness bloody contests of might and the slaughter of wild beasts.

I really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it. The tour guide John was very knowledgeable and passionate. He answered all of our group’s questions. This tour allows you to enter the sites using the VIP entrances, so there was no wait to get in.

We had the best guide and the tour was excellent. He was an archaeologist with a vast amount of knowledge. The information he shared with us greatly added to our experience. It was very crowded at the Colosseum and we felt that having a guide helped us get the most out of our visit despite the crowds.

The trip was well-paced and full of information. Worth it alone to skip the many lines. Our guide knew a lot and welcomed questions - but sometimes went of on tangents not really related to what we were seeing.

An okay tour; the sites seen were great; I felt like I got my moneys worth and saw everything I was looking forward to. That said, the content the guide shared was lacking. It felt like I wasn’t getting a tremendous amount of the history for the first two hours (much of it was repeated several times), then when we got to the colosseum our guide spoke to us for nearly 30 minutes while we sat and listened in the sun. He was a nice man and did his best to answer questions, but it didn’t feel like the content was well planned out (too little history for the first half, too much of an academic lecture for the last half).

The tour was most informative and interesting. Guido provided info to allow us to understand the significance of the ruins and gave us an outstanding background of the culture of ancient Rome. He did an excellent job guiding us around the Forum, Palatine and the Colosseum on a rainy day and he did his best to keep us both under cover and apart from the crowds.

Eugenia was a great guide. Intermingled with the history were stories about life in Rome. The ruins of the Forum came to life. Our excursion through Palatine Hill gave a real sense of the life and opulence of an emperor. Through the entire tour Eugenia kept the group engaged and was a great story teller.
