Florence and Pisa were both very memorable with it's charm and history. We're so glad to have witnessed this first hand along with the tour guides. What we didn't appreciate is the driver not speaking English but moreover we really disliked the distracted driving including eating, fumbling with map directions along with the long personal cell calls at speeds reaching over 160 km per hour on wet pavement. This left a very bad impression both on Viator and it's tour operator.

Time mostly spent traveling. Need to hire a driver that speaks English to be able to guide the guests.

Michael was a very entertaining guide, lots of historical context told in a delightful way. We wandered through all the important areas and saw many beautiful things .

Our driver to Florence was terrible. He almost got into an accident multiple times. The actual tour in Florence was boring and we didn’t go inside anywhere. The only good thing was seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Operator failed to show and never responded to 3 emails regarding pick up. They let stand at the curb for 45 minutes without any contact.

The tour guide shared beautiful information about buildings that we were not able to go into, and shared a lot of info for people to do things if they were staying in Florence longer, which didn't apply to a lot of us. The information about the tour said that we would spend time on the Old Bridge where the gold and leather shops are and have opportunity to be able to shop. The guide only showed us the bridge from a distance of a few blocks away. It was very disappointing since this was a large part of why we chose this particular tour. I believe the tours should follow through with what they promise. We we not provided with enough free time at the end on the tour to go back to the bridge. Thank goodness we booked 3 other tours with viator and were totally pleased with them.

This is an all day trip, but is very good. We had the opportunity of visit to 2 beautiful places on the same day, with a decent time see around and take pictures. Also we had a great driver named Pino which always took care of us during the whole way, making the long travel hours more pleasant.

Little bit of confusion when we got there because we were late because of our drive. Tour guide was grear but we only got to take the walking tour before we had to leave for Pusa. Wished we had more time in Florence also a little confusion as to our reservation and tour guide was confused so had to reach out to your customer service to get it straightened out

The pick up was prompt and the first comfort break was timely. The driver was very nice but had no English, despite us having booked the English tour. This wouldn't have been a problem if all had gone well, but it didn't. After the comfort break the car developed a fault which meant that it lost power going up hills and juddered the whole time. Fortunately one of the other travellers spoke a little Italian so he was able to translate what the driver was saying, that the car would get us to Florence where it would go in to be checked-if it couldn't be fixed a new car would be sent. We were able to speak to a company representative on the driver's phone who said she would contact us, which would have been fine, if we had a working phone with us. The other travellers very kindly said that we could stick together so that they would pass on any messages. We were dropped in central Florence with no instructions where to meet out guide, just a message telling us where we would be collected. By chance we found our guide in the throng- the guide and tour were excellent, however our booking said this was included in the price but we had to pay the guide at the end of the tour. We met our driver at the appointed time who explained that the car had been checked and was safe to continue, it had been adjusted so that it would only judder at low speeds. It became evident very soon that this wasn't true and we juddered our way to Pisa. The time in Pisa was lovely but tempered by concern about whether we could get back to Rome. The driver assured us that it was safe and we spent the entire juddering journey back to Rome in a state of discomfort and concern. When we questioned the driver he reassured us that it was safe but it genuinely didn't feel like it. We felt that our concerns weren't taken into consideration or addressed. I'm sure this is an unusual scenario but the customer service was zero. We are very grateful to the other travellers who did look after us.
