The chaos getting onto the ship almost caused me to turn around a leave. Once getting through the ticket checkpoint you wait in a group for the next boat, totally fine. However, once the gates opened to board people were shoving! There were elderly and people with babies and little ones, it was terrifying being pushed and feeling out of control. Staffing to get people on the boat really should be part of this excursion. Once on the boat no safety measures were given and the narration is in 4 languages, hard to hear and didn’t seem to give much information. Some of the problem could be that it was a night cruise, everyone stood to take pics and it was like a social media clicking frenzy!! When we purchased tickets we were given an option for a time, we chose a time and assumed there would be some control of how many for a time slot. It did not seem that way. The views along the Siene were beautiful…what we could see.

I booked this riverboat cruise for my first night in Paris at around sunset. The weather behaved even though it was raining earlier. It's a great excursion and easy way to get yourself situated with the sites around town you want to go see more in-depth later. The view of the Eiffel Tower is gorgeous and great picture-taking opportunities. The boat plays pre-recorded fun facts as we sail by places, playing them over a loudspeaker in several languages. It's better that way that having to fiddle with an audio guide. Definite must do when visiting Paris for the first time.

It was supposed to be a 1 hour and 15-minute trip, but it was shortened to 45 minutes without a reduction in price. Additionally, we reserved seats for the 16:30 trip, but there was no cruise at that time. Luckily, we arrived 20 minutes early and found out that there were cruises leaving at 16:15 and 17:00 without any prior notice.

The Seine River Cruise itself was really lovely, but the boarding process is long and poorly organized. Make sure you arrive well in advance or you may not get a place on board at selected time.

No organizatio.n to onboard. It was full and people push. Due to it was crowded people were standing up and you couldn't see. Better use other options with small groups and boats.

The cruise itself was nice but the commentary on the boat was muffled and very hard to understand. I definitely feel as though it needs to be improved. The boat and cruise were very nice.

The only reason why I am giving this excursion three stars is because of the poor directions to where the boat was leaving from. The instructions were vague and did not name the departure area as Bateaux Mouches. The Bateaux Mouches was mentioned in the directions as if the departure of the boat was near this place instead of it actually being this place. Also the departure location was not listed anywhere on my viator booking and the vouchers for this excursion were not loaded in the viator app either. After asking someone in the area they sent us to the ticket booth to get tickets for Bateaux Mouches using the booking number I had. This excursion is worth the ride as long as you know how find it before your scheduled ride leaves.
