This is the city that governed half of America and large areas of the world, produced some of the best artists and writers of all time but also struggled with crime, a Napoleon invasion and a Civil War.
My goal is that at the end of the tour you will see some of the most beautiful and meaningful sites and understand their deep meaning. Madrid is the result of a series of unexpected events, conquests, successes and contradictions that create a unique urbanism, heritage and culture with great impact in Western culture.

The BEST TOUR EVER! The tour was conducted in the most friendly but professional manner with an abundance of extremely informative historical facts spiced with humor and candor. The tour took into consideration )the warm weather, staying in the shade whenever possible as well as giving two spots to get something to drink and use facilities. The tour ,at the end, recapped all that was discussed during the walk, tieing together the Story of Madrid and all of its mysteries. Absolutely a FABULOUS TOUR!

Our guide name was Juan. This gentleman was fantastic. His knowledge and communication skills were amazing. Our appreciation of Madrid was because of him. His sense of humor was delightful. We would highly recommend Juan to all travelers for a fantastic experience.

My husband and I went on this 2 ½ hour walking tour with Juan yesterday and found it extremely good value for money. Juan was able to tell the history of Madrid in an interesting and not overwhelming way. It was nice to be in a small group where headphones were not required. A number of the places we went to we would not have found on our own. Many thanks Juan for your knowledge, friendly personality and storytelling ability. You made what could’ve been a dry and bland tour into a very interesting one.
Your restaurant recommendations were also appreciated and we ended up bumping into the other couple who were on the tour there at lunch.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Super interesting and thorough tour! We learned about the many evolutions of Madrid and all the cultural influences over the centuries. We walked away with a deeper appreciation for the city and covered ALOT of ground (literally!). Juan was friendly and you can tell how much he enjoys what he does!

This is a really wonderful tour, one of the best I have done. Juan is super knowledgeable and a natural story teller. Very interesting stories and some humor too. I also got to see great sites I would have not found on my own. Highly recommend
