Secret Spot Hot Tubs is a stone’s throw from Rotorua, hidden in the heart of New Zealand’s mountain biking mecca, the Waipa Valley. Secret Spot has 12 hot tubs that are situated along the edge of the forest, overlooking the Puarenga Stream, and each hot tub is perfect for any group of friends or family up to 6 people.
You can also explore our unique café and bar set in a forest oasis with native plantings – we have smooth manuka-roasted coffee, Good George craft beer and cider, and Mills Reef wine. Welcoming, great service, lovely facilities and the private tubs and outlook was perfect. Lovely way to relax. The atmosphere from the moment you arrive at the waterfall and then throughout adds to the lovely experience.

Evening spa, nice ambiance with the lights against the red woods! Tub was good heat and can order drinks by pressing a button!

Such a beautiful retreat! I’d even recommend this for a drink while soaking your feet in the foot spa. Great tunes and drink selection

Stunning scenery 10/10
Alcohol on offer 4/10 unfortunately the 3x different alcoholic beverages in cans that we had were not that nice.
Our group of 6x arrived and it was quite busy, our spas were located next to the cold plunge pools so unfortunately it was not that relaxing as we could hear kids and adults running past and screaming.
Will visit again at night when it's hopefully not too busy.

Great activity on a cool Autumn day. Serene, scenic and soothing.
Great experience overall. Good for about an hour and a half of your day in Rotorua.

Amazing relaxing experience. Took my wife on a secret date. She absolutely loved it as well. The time is more than enough.
I would advise to take some slippers to walk outside cause the floor is freezing cold, we forgot ours.

Such an amazing spot, beautiful and friendly service. I have been before but only during the day, i did my first evening visit and wow it was even more beautiful with the lights and calmness of the environment.

Fantastic experience. The hot tubs are very private and each one is tucked away and surrounded by lush greenery. We ordered and had our drinks delivered to the tub!
