Staff and crew were so friendly. Food was amazing. Loved only having 33 on board . Bonus was we had the most magical weather ☀️?the reef was spectacular.

Fantastic experience!
The crew was very accommodating and experienced! Everyone felt safe on board and in the water. We have been lucky to see turtles, plenty of fishes and corals. I have particularly enjoyed being a small group. Food was good.
Very recommended.

The team was incredibly professional. Every passenger was engaged with and team made sure each and every person on the snorkeling trip enjoyed their time in the water.

We had a great time. The crew was wonderful and the snorkeling spots were full of fish and coral. Plenty of time in the water and great guided tours.

The Seastar crew were very welcoming, enthusiastic, and had great reef knowledge. They give snorkel tours of the reef spots so you get the most out of your time in the water! The lunch was quite tasty as well.

Fantastic small group day tour. Friendly and helpful staff, greats stops for snorkeling and diving and yummy lunch too. Superb day out and great value for money. Well run local family business. We will travel again as the same as when we did it 9 years ago.

We are visiting from the USA and wanted to snorkel the reef. We spent a lot of time researching which tour operator to book with. We found Seastar and saw they only take out a maximum of 35 people a day. We knew right away this was the boat to book with as some of the other companies take out over 100. Upon arriving at the boat on November 29, the crew were extremely friendly and knew they took safety seriously. They provided everyone on board with a safety number. They had you sign in at the beginning of the day and again at the end of the day. Once we left port, it was about 90 minute journey to the first reef. Once there, they provided a safety briefing, provided everyone with stinger suits, and life jackets or noodles, if you want one. You were then given the option to snorkel to the beach or take a glass bottom. We opted for the glass bottom boat and snorkeled back to the boat. They broke everyone up into groups so the staff could easily keep an eye on everyone. The snorkeling was amazing. We got back on the boat and they provided lunch and water. After lunch, we took another 20 minute journey to the second reef. Again prior to snorkeling they provided another safety briefing. Again prior to entering the water, if you wanted a life jacket or noodle, they were available. Once in the water, they broke us up into two groups again. We spent about 2 hours at this reef. The water was much rougher and had a stronger current. Was still a great time and saw a lot.
Throughout the day the staff was taking photos and posted to social media. Was great, so we didn’t have to worry about taking photos.
I would absolutely recommend Seastar to my friends and family. The staff were amazing and take everyone’s safety very seriously.

What an amazing trip out to the Great Barrier Reef! Loved that this tour group was smaller than the others and the guides were awesome! We were lucky to get such a clear day and there was so beauty all around us. Snorkeling was great, food was great, whole day was great! Highly recommend!
