For as small of an aquarium SEA LIFE New Jersey at American Dream is, the venue is very well kept and appealing compared to SeaQuest Woodbridge. Similar to SeaQuest Woodbridge, however, is the novelty of an aquarium being at the mall. So do not look at this venue as a full-blown aquarium and plan this visit along with other things to do at the mall.

Sitting on the first floor/level of American Dream (best accessed from Parking Lot B), its located directly next to the Legoland attraction. While both have similar management, I would recommend this attraction over Legoland (while acknowledging that both have different appeals and target audiences).

The animal exhibits themselves were very colorful, vibrant and well put together, despite the overall venue being relatively small compared to your full-sized aquariums. The overall placement of fixtures, exhibits, and infomaps/placards made the experience more engaging and appealing.

The size of the venue did make navigating the aquarium a bit challenging (narrow corridors and choke points) especially when there are crowds, but the cleanliness of everything contributed to its desirable appearance.

Would not mind coming back once in a while!

The aquarium was entertaining for kids 3,5, and 7. The kids enjoyed themselves though it was really pricy for a party of 6 at over 200 for just 1 attraction. They also don’t sell you tickets at the attraction and force you to buy tickets online which was a real hassle since we had to dig for our phones. Then at the end of the attraction, we come across a children's playground, which the kids really want to go on but wasn’t allowed to because it requires socks on a hot July day when most kids were wearing sandles. Finally the place goes cashless and only takes credit cards as a payment option. Normally it isn’t a problem, but for folks like us who are going cash to limit spending to make sure we don’t over spend for a mini family day, it is very problematic. We will not be returning.

I visited with my son who is 19 and a fish fanatic. We went later in the afternoon on a Thursday and it was basically empty. It's really cool in there and we had a great time! Loved the beautiful jellyfish tank and the touch tank. Lots of cool fish! Highly recommended even for teens! It's nice in there, clean, large tanks, plenty of space to walk around.

We took our time at each tank and we're out in about 50 minutes.

This is a small aquarium that can be enjoyed in a short amount of time featuring beautiful exhibits. We appreciate the nod to the region with local wildlife and scenery. Very cool little aquarium that our family enjoyed visiting. Our admission was included with our LEGOLAND annual passes. So, no charges or fees!

Rip-off. $30 for a 15-minute walk. Skip it. No wonder no one visits it. It is neither educational nor an entertainment for any age. May be people would not mind a $5 ticket.

We purchased combination tickets for Legoland and the Sea Life Aquarium. Legoland was good, the Sea Life Aquarium was excellent. The aquarium is built and geared for children, with lots of interactive features, which the adults had a really fun time as well. A bit expensive but well worth a visit when traveling to the American Dream complex.

Lots to see. Interactive and fun for all ages. Friendly staff and clean inside. Variety of sea life made it very interesting and kept your attention. Play area for young children at the end and reasonable gift shot. Photo opportunity available and inexpensive options to purchase photos with different background choices to commemorate the visit.

Very small. About a 45 minute experience. I guess it’s worth going once but certainly not something you’d do more then once a year. Also kinda pricey for such a small place. Still fun though

This aquarium is a fun place to visit if you need a good rainy day activity and you are heading to the mall. The ticket prices seem a bit high because you can easily visit all the exhibits in about 30 minutes, especially if you are with little little kids with short attention spans.

I think the creatures on display are a really nice mixture and the descriptions are useful but not overly complicated.

My favorite tank was the one with all the local attractions.

Overall, a nice visit, but not someplace you can visit too frequently because it is small.
