Your tour will start from the old port of Fira. Your first destination will be the volcano bay for 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you decide to visit the volcano you will have to pay a 5€ ticket fee at the entrance. Your tour escort will show you various key points of the volcanic path and you will be guided all the way up to the top, where you will be informed about the history of the volcano. Please consider that the hike needs a moderate amount of walking.

After the volcano tour, the boat will depart and head towards the hot springs of Palea Kameni island. Once you arrive at the hot springs, you will have 30 minutes of swimming time. The boat will stop at an estimated distance of approximately 30-40 meters that you will have to swim to reach the thermal waters. It is important to note that the customers that will decide to swim at the hot springs, must be strong and skilled swimmers, since they will have to swim a relatively long distance (30-40 meters).

Volcano hike is a waste of time nothing to see there but a good workout if you want one. It was nice to swim in the water but is very cold and hot springs are luke warm at best. Overall worth it if you have nothing better you can fit in the time. Wish they did exclusively swimming tours

We knew that hiking to the volcano was an issue.

But when we got to the hot springs we were told we had to “swim 50 meters AND be back in 30 minutes “. As 70 years old, that’s a little too much.

We really enjoyed this boat trip - we saw some beautiful views of Santorini. Was great to stop off at the volcano and walk up it - walk is manageable, not too hard although trainers would be a lot easier to walk in. Very good for the price too.

Experience was as promised in the tour details. The water was a bit cold but many on the boat decided to go in. The volcano experience was nice. The tour company did guide us and spoke a but about how the volcano and area came to be which was very informative and I thought that added to the event.

Great travel experience, the tour guide is also very kind. The temperature in May is still a bit cold, and I still don’t have the courage to swim in the sea.

I do not recommend this excursion! The volcano was just rocks and hills, nothing spectacular. Then the hot waters are not hot, they are currents of hot waters which do not last. Swimming to get there is clearly not accessible to everyone and even less to children. Especially since the sea was rough and no safety measures were taken. Whether for the volcano or for the hot waters, you must be physically fit and therefore exclude certain people with a disability. If we had to do it again, we wouldn't do it.

For the price it was well worth the experience.
Anna our tour guide was amazing - detailed explanations on the history of the volcano and how it impacted the surrounding area.
Was a cold day when we went but I still braved the elements for a swim - definitely recommend aiming for a warmer day to do this but was worth it!

We had a bad weather day -very strenuous hike to see a little bit of steam.

Definitely not worth it. If you want to see volcanoes go to Japan or Iceland.

Guide was extremely irritating. The swim was a joke extremely cool 17°C. And then the hot spring is only 5° warmer.
For the money is fun to go on the cruise around the island.
