Your tour will start from the old port of Fira. Your first destination will be the volcano bay for 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you decide to visit the volcano you will have to pay a 5€ ticket fee at the entrance. Your tour escort will show you various key points of the volcanic path and you will be guided all the way up to the top, where you will be informed about the history of the volcano. Please consider that the hike needs a moderate amount of walking.
After the volcano tour, the boat will depart and head towards the hot springs of Palea Kameni island. Once you arrive at the hot springs, you will have 30 minutes of swimming time. The boat will stop at an estimated distance of approximately 30-40 meters that you will have to swim to reach the thermal waters. It is important to note that the customers that will decide to swim at the hot springs, must be strong and skilled swimmers, since they will have to swim a relatively long distance (30-40 meters).

Jumping off the boat into the cold Caldera and then swimming to the springs was my favorite part of the trip! So rejuvenating! The actual boat ride was beautiful, I could have stayed out there all day!

We booked and paid for this tour on April 28, 2023. We arrived on Nov. 4, as instructed, at the time and meeting place, Santo Star Travel at the Old Port of Fira. The office was closed and remained closed. A passer-by informed us the tour had been cancelled. We have tried to contact Caldera's Boats several times using their web site and earlier emails we have from them. So far, we have had no response. We paid 50 euros by credit card, and they have not refunded the amount. You and your users should be aware of their lack of response and lack of a refund when they cancelled the tour.

We had a really great trip to the volcano and hot springs. The boat stopped at the volcano first and then we had to walk 20 minutes to the top of the volcano which was well worth doing. It costs an extra 5 euros each to climb up and 2.50 euros for children. Our guide was really knowledgeable and told us how the islands were formed which was really interesting. The swim in the hotel springs was breath-taking. Even though it was October the water wasn't too cold. I would have liked a bit longer swimming. I would highly recommend this trip and would do it again.

Had tons of fun. The scenery was beautiful and you get to swim to the hot springs. They give you a float which helps if you’re not the best swimmer. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and gave us a nice history about the volcano. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

It was a lovely experience with good restaurants to eat.
The guide was very friendly and the weather was beautiful. Highly recommend this tour if you wish to explore.
The volcano is a bit of long walk so keep your walking shoes handy.
The swim in the hot springs is absolutely breathtaking

I did not make it to the trip as I could not find the meet-up point after walking in circles in Santorini, I have asked for a refund and still have not received it to date—bad service.
