Initially, you will meet our guide at your hotel or another agreed-upon location. After boarding a luxury minibus, you will consult with our expert guide and plan a 5-hour tour which will be entirely customized to your individual preferences. 1. Oia
Our usual first stop is the picturesque village of Oia, a place of unmatched beauty and tranquility. Built on the slope of the Caldera, it is truly the quintessence of what Santorini has to offer: glorious skies meeting endless blue seas, traditional Cycladic houses along idyllic footpaths and an entirely immersive atmosphere – a generously rewarding experience for the visitor.
2. Firostefani
Another stop on this tour is Firostefani, the ‘crown of Fira’. Taking its name from its elevated position, this settlement is blessed with truly breathtaking views of the island. This location is also home to the Blue Domed Church, a prominent icon of the island of Santorini.
3. Megalochori - Traditional Village
The authentic old settlement of Megalochori, the ‘big village’, awaits visitors with its warm and inviting atmosphere. Dating back to the 17th century, it is one of the most picturesque villages of the island featuring historical mansions with inner courtyards, traditional architecture and pirate hideaways.
4. Emporio
And how can someone not visit Emporio. Once the center of commercial activity, it is the largest settlement of Santorini with a definite medieval flavor and well-preserved traditional houses. The heart of the village boasts Emporio Kastelli, the best-preserved castle on the island. Enjoy a walk through the charming narrow streets and don’t forget to visit the churches.
5. Perissa Black Sand Beach
Black Beach, or Perissa, is actually the end of the long black sand beach of Perivolos and, it is the busiest and most famous beach in Santorini. After enjoying the clear waters and impressive black sand, we shall try the local specialties available at the many seaside restaurants.
6. Red Beach
Standing true to its name, the distinctive Red Beach features a remarkably imposing odd formation of red volcanic rock dramatically contrasting the magnificent blue of the sea – a truly unique sight to behold.
7. Akrotiri Archaeological Site
Here is one of the most significant prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. Akrotiri had developed into a major city before it was covered in ash by volcanic eruptions. However, the ash has preserved structures and their contents allowing the visitor to marvel at this wonder of antiquity.

The island is also famous for its wine-making tradition. This private tour makes a stop at Venetsanos Wineryand allows the visitor to seize the opportunity to try the splendid local varieties Santorini is famous for.
9. Wine Museum Koutsogiannopoulos
The museum is truly one of a kind: a 300-meter labyrinth shaped cave, 8 meters under the ground, it is an exhibition of the history of local wine and the life of vine-growers since 1660! A wealth of artefacts, images and representations will take the visitor on an amazing journey through the history of winemaking in Santorini.

Perched on the summit of the highest mountain of the island (600 meters above sea) and dating back to 1711, it is a place of great historical interest and indeed a rewarding one in terms of stunning views beyond description.
11. Imerovigli
At about 300 meters above sea level, Imerovigli is very often referred to as the "balcony of the Aegean" and it definitely lives up to this name by offering a most spectacular view of the Aegean sunset. Other highlights are the many churches in typical Cycladic architecture, especially the church of Ai-Stratis and the Monastery of St. Nikolaos, as well as Skaros Rock which features the remains of a medieval fortress.
12. Pyrgos
Pyrgos Village exhibits all the magic of Santorini and trademark panoramic views of both sides of the island but also retains features of the Venetian rule. The traditional Cycladic houses and paths surround the old Venetian castle, offering the best of both worlds and making Pyrgos Village a place not to be missed.
13. Santorini

The tour was amazing but even more than amazing was Jenny and Niko. My family was thrilled to have the customized experience. We did everything we wanted to do and more. This tour is a must! The wine tasting was the best and the views from the winery were unbelievable.

It's been a month since we got back from our Santorini trip and we still can't stop talking about this memorable experience. SHOUT OUT TO JENNY, the most amazing, personable, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and our driver, Nikos. They made this excursion so much fun for us. We enjoyed every moment of this tour with you both!

What we loved about this company was that the tour was private...and by private it was literally just us, our wonderful tour guide and our driver. We booked a 5-hour Santorini Custom Tour and the best part was they allowed us to personalize our own itinerary. Because we were already staying in Oia, we opted to explore the middle and southern part of the island.

Highlights included: Akrotiri Archeological site, Black Beach, Fira and my favorite village, Pyrgos.

So glad we booked this private tour and when your tour guide happens to have a passion for photography, you get a photoshoot in the process.

I have been meaning to do this for some time. We booked a private tour with Santorini Tours in July 2023. From the get go it was fantastic. The booking process was very easy and meeting Jenny, our tour guide at the top of the cable cars was simple. The Tour Shuttle was luxurious and comfortable.
This tour was beyond amazing. We were able to customize our tour. Nikos was our driver and Jenny was our tour guide. Jenny was very knowledgeable about Santorini. They knew exactly where to take us and took us to some of the most photographic areas on the Island. We did a cruise and this was one of our highlights of the trip. Thank you so much Santorini Tours for such a fantastic day.

This one is the best tour given our guide Jeni treated us like we were family friends and she was showing us around her beautiful island. We were able to customize the stops. We wanted to go see and prioritize most important.
She had a driver work together to provide a seamless and comfortable tour of the island.
To top it off, she was an excellent photographer and offered to take our family photos along the way. Jeni is a true treasure. I would highly recommend this to our company.

This was intended to be a relaxing day on an island we had heard so much about and see what is referred to as “The postcard of Greece” ( Blue Domed Church). Things you need to know before visiting Santorini: 1. Cruise ships tender passengers to the port exit.
2. Three choices to get up the mountain into Fira Town, a cable car that only takes ~30-35 people at a time or a donkey that will take you to the top or a very long walk up the same path as the donkey.
3. The Blue domed churches are in a town called OIA which is about a 25 minute drive from the port.
THIS IS WHERE STELIOS and Santorinitours.com can help you. Public transportation is quite difficult but calling Stelios will not only show you the entire island, he will make your relaxing day as enjoyable as you wanted it to be. Also he very reasonably priced compared to what the cruises charge for a private tour. We had one if the best tours of our entire month long vacation!
We saw: the Blue Domed Churches in OIA, Preissa Black Sand Beach, a tour of the entire island and even a wine tasting at one of Santorini famous winery’s . I can’t say enough great things about this company other than , my son used them in the past, we used them in August and my daughter will use them next spring.

Our tour guide Jenny was fabulous; she treated us like we were family friends and showed us all around the island. She customized our tour to ensure we saw what we wanted too and she is an amazing photographer and took lovely photos of our family along the way.

Jenny was fantastic. So friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It was a delight and a pleasure to spend time with her and the wonderful driver. The Mercedes people mover was very comfortable.
Jenny seemed to know exactly what we wanted to see and tailored our tour perfectly and left us with beautiful memories and photographs of our time in Santorini. We would definitely recommend Jenny as your tour guide.

Our tour guides(Niki and Nick) were very friendly and knowledgeable. My wife has limited mobility and they adjusted the tour to meet our needs. The only negative is from the drop off point from the van back up to the cable car can be very challenging for someone in a wheelchair. The tour company should take this into consideration.

Our group of 14 scheduled a personalized, private tour and it was incredible. The prices were very reasonable per person (lower than quoted on trip advisor) and our local guide, Jenny, was adorable, very knowledgeable, and had great little stories about her life there to really show us how the locals live. Lunch at the restaurant across from the Black Sand beach was delicious and the transportation was clean and timely. We were visiting as part of a cruise and she was mindful of the time we needed to be back to ensure we could fit in what we wanted and still be on time for our boat.
I would definitely recommend this experience.

An amazing tour not to be missed. Jenny made our experience wonderful!!! We have done this tour before and loved it enough to book them again when we returned, but Jenny hit it out of the park!!!! We saw everything and more, and at the end she even walked us to the place that we had made reservations for a sunset dinner, which would not have been easy for us to find. Highly recommended and don't forget to ask for Jenny!!!! Miami, loves you Jenny! Can't wait till we can be your tour guider around Miami!!!
